When we acquire all this armor that we really do not want, we should be given the option to sell it.
Concentrate on selling off common or uncommon power weapons and vehicles which you don’t use to get your req points. I always get rid of lower tier power weapons which are dropped by basic enemies, like boltshots, suppressors, storm rifles and plasma pistols. If you don’t like the armour or helmets - I agree there are too many and a lot of them are hideous - just ignore them.
Armor? I’m glad we can’t sell armor as it goes towards the 100% collection. I use to sell the weapon/vehicle common REQs and keep the boost. You don’t get a lot but if you have like 100commons you can sell them for a nice chunk of points towards another pack. You can also use your RP boost to help get the packs for the Armor you do want.
yeah, I sold down a ton of vehicles (Mongooses and Scout Warthogs) and weapons. When you have 200+, you know you don’t need them.
Funny detail: it takes forever to sell all the items you don’t use. But you can easy earn 20.000 selling vehicles and weapons you don’t use (I´m looking at you plasma gun). Anyways, if you think about it is not that good idea to sell the armor you don’t like. Why? because you can get it again and will be a waste of REQ. The system is terrible, the customization is so bad it makes me cry and the design of the armors are… well I just look at my “collection” and there are ones so ugly I never seen anyone use them. And the worst part is that the color of the under armor makes every armor looks the same.
But that the Halo 5 we all have, play love and hate (it is imposible to not to both). hopefully they will get it right in Infinite

Some helmets in Halo 5 are laughably ugly or retarded. Why do some resemble unicorns, with a spike sticking forward like the wire cutter blades on helicopters? I refuse to believe that the majority of them would leave the drawing board if the Halo universe was real.

I agree that the unicorn helmet looks ugly, but it’s probably the helmet I see in use most often. People seem to love it.
