I would prefer to contact 343 directly but after some search I didn’t find a contact support. If someone knows of any e-mail, please tell me so this subject reaches the company staff as soon as possible.
I am from Portugal, as so as many others I pre-ordered Halo 5 Guardians and I’ve been waiting for 27th like everyone else… But wait! Not like everyone else!
Apparently, some minor stores have been receiving their stock since at least 15 days before the launch. It’s ok by me, until employees take copies home and play Halo 5 Guardians 15 days before, OFFLINE, so they won’t be noticed. I thought any physical or digital copy would be impossible to play before launch except for reviewers that, of course, need a special authorization. I trust that these people will be punished or banned somehow by 343industries or Microsoft, right?
Also, another portuguese store is SELLING Halo 5 Guardians copies NOW! Gaming Replay, an online AND PHYSICAL store posted a status on its official Facebook page telling, on the 22nd October, that Halo was already on stock and for people to pass by already on thursday so they could play this present weekend. Some people have already purchased physical copies of Halo 5 (and some can already play).
Is 343 and Microsoft aware of this? And if so, are you gonna do anything about it??? I understand that you can’t do anything directly about stores, but at least something about people playing the game? Not to mention it’s a punch knowing that the game is being sold before the launch date you guys decided.
My problem is not about a small group of people playing it before me (I don’t envy reviewers, for example, they are AUTHORIZED). What bothers me is that there’s a launch prepared for 27th, along with events organized by 343industries and Microsoft, thousands of people have to wait for the day and a small group of smart ones or lucky ones already finished the campaign, with NO AUTHORIZATION, and get away with it? What makes them worthier than me and so many others? So many spoilers all around already, videos of campaign, SO MANY PEOPLE playing it. People that are not reviewers!!!
I don’t think this is fair and I hope 343 and Microsoft will find these people and punish them, somehow. I mean, there’s a launch date for some reason, right? If people can play before 27th, why can’t we all? And also, in my opinion, this is ruinning a launch that 343 so hardly is preparing (I think).
