How do you select your weapons when you die in Halo 2. Can’t seem to get any options when I die (which is a lot)!! stuck with the same gun

Depends on the gametype.
But in standard slayer on H2A you should be able to press Y and it opens the choice between SMG, Plasma Rifle and Pistol.
If it’s BR start or anything else, I don’t think you can because of the gametype’s settings.
You better be joking … you talking classic Halo 2?
