I can never find a game and no its not my connection all my friends in the UK have the same problem but as soon as we join someone from the USA it’s game after game it’s not nice waiting 20min to find a game and loose because of that lone wait to wait another 20min for the next game am not always gonna have a (usa) friend online everyone complains but nothing is done I ges they don’t care as long as they got players playing there game who cares am on about the ranked playlist

I’ve noticed something bad about this too. I have no idea if it’s regional or jot tbh. All I know is in the UK I’m struggling to find a game. It takes like 5 minutes and keeps saying “continuing to search”.
Also, for certin game modes, in my case Swat I cannot find a game at all on my own. Well I can, if I leave the xbox alone for like 15 minutes lol.
I figured it was just a low population thing or something. Tbh I have no idea what’s going on, in fact I’ve been finding games faster on MCC than I have been in H5 recently.
343i has abandoned xbox live users outside North America.
I mean just look at the “Voice of war” pack, for non-English speaking countries, it’s still not available!!! They said it would be fixed in the week of 12th december 2016. Soon it will be 1 month and they still haven’t fixed it. Why? Because it would cost them too much money, the Europe population is too low, so they are thinking no point in investing in these people.
It’s the same with Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. It isn’t the flag game, instead the bonus game Modern Warfare Remastered is the flag game this year, because many more ppl in MWR than IW. What does Infinity Ward do?
Switch all the best servers to Modern Warfare Remastered and all the ugly and nasty servers to Infinite Warfare. MWR no lag, IW too much lag.

You most likely have, since we’re on the same servers as the people in the US. In any case, your connection with us would be just as bad, unfortunately.
As a US player I can still find games but when solo searching I never get players that are close to me. Everyone seems spread out now and the games performance has a moderate amount of lag in it and very poor hit registration. So its either a population problem or there is something severely wrong with this game. I find this very strange for a Halo game that is just over one year old… idk…

I’m from Singapore and I manage to get into games of almost any gamemode in under a minute. My search preference is balanced because I absolutely cannot get games with focused. Even so, the connections are good and I only ever find myself up against MLG-esque players every 3-4 games and even then it’s only a guy or 2. So the game definitely works in Asia (and maybe Aus too?). Try openin up your search preference to something you wouldn’t normally do if you haven’t already and play the more populated playlists for the optimal experience such as warzone, btb, 4v4 slayer. That’s all I can do to help though.
I also do agree with that one dude about the voices of war pack. Sod off 343 how -Yoink!- long are you going to take just for that? I know they have to adjust for the different languages, but the stupid thing is, the first language in Singapore is English! Bloody hell!

It’s well known how the rank strongly influence search times.
The more you’re good, the less player you’ll can find because the system tries to match people with your same rank or higher.
You’re current highest all time rank is UNRANKED, I think I’ve said all.

I was saying this would happen months ago.
As an EU high diamond/onyx player (in the past seasons of course) I’m struggling to find a game since February 2016 and every month it becomes worse.
This matchmaking system, along with ranking system and rank filter, is something that can function properly only where population is big and healthy.
Every other places is condemned to eternal waits and awuful latencies.
I’m from the UK and I never really run into any problems. That being said, I haven’t played it today and pretty much always solo queue.
Let’s be brutally realistic here. 343i may pretend otherwise, but right from the launch of the game its been blindingly apparent that they are only interested in the North American market. 343i, and Microsoft specifically, have never really shown that they care much about their users in other countries at all in the past. Even the UK didn’t get any local Microsoft (and that’s not even Halo) servers until last year, despite being such an important country for them for so long. Unless you move to the US this is never going to change. Mainly thanks to the fact that its a vicious cycle, they can’t make much of an impact outside the US (PS4 utterly dominating XOne everywhere outside US) because they don’t really care or even try. And that means people don’t have a reason to get involved when they’re just going be ignored. And because of that, 343i/Microsoft don’t see value in investing in overseas markets. As a result, this will likely never change. Xbox as a brand is awful for this, generally just making non US customers feel unappreciated as outsiders. It’s utterly alienating.
At least they didn’t abandone the community…yet.

I’ve been having these kinds of feelings since Halo 5 came out. Glad I’m not the only one.
I play with plenty of South Americans, and my Scottish friend doesn’t have any trouble finding games. shrugs
Halo should just release on PC to make the game grow. Its not what it used to be.

Since Christmas servers seem to have just went down hill. I’m finding games again after a week of constantly getting disconnected in the uk but latency is very inconsistent
if it was the same amount of latency through the whole game it would be some what manageable but cause it’s very inconsistent I can’t adjust to any latency and be aware how much latency to compensate for

I think it’s mostly ranked playlist I find games in social but it’s still a small wait

I find games when play with American players but most of my friends are in the eu and I never get games when playing with them this it for the ranked playlist
