I 100% without doubt think it is Security armor

Picture Guide; to help show the similarities to Security:

NEW PICTURE
Here’s a comparision of the helmets theorized to be the one in the picture.
(Note: you are all wrong)

High res screenshots of the armor:
Orbital
Strider
E.V.A

So what do you guys think?

Its more likely going to be EVA as the security helmet is copyrighted by Bungie still as it is from the game “Marathon”.

Edit: Even more likely to be the strider helmet.

Not seeing it, it personally looks like Military Police to me.

> Not seeing it, it personally looks like Military Police to me.

Thought that too, but here, it appears to have a large visor.

If you look here

You can see that the Strider armor doesn’t look like the one in the screenshot I provided.
The shoulder, forearms, and chest look very different.

I don’t think 343i has ever mix matched armor sets in a trailer before, and I don’t think they’d randomly start now, especially on a suit that’s obviously intentionally hidden.

Unless they redesigned EVA, I doubt it. Halo 4’s(which style wise 343i is sticking to) EVA has a pretty distinct visor, very similar to a balloon with the mouth area of the visor being smaller and gradually getting bigger, while the one in the video clearly has a large bulbous visor much like Halo 3’s Security helmet.

Security baby, is that you?!

Nah, the more I look and think about it, it is more likely Halo 4s Eva Helmet

I would so laugh if bravo or someone said that the spartan had a sticky on his face.

I get an Orbital vibe from it… would love to see Security make a comeback, though.

That appears to be orbital, look at it, jagged chin, domed head, white “reflection” smack in the middle of the visor. Definitely not security though.

It’s definitely not Orbital.

Also; I added a new picture, check the OP.

I’m not really sure what it is, but I’d love if they brought back Security.

It looks more like the Orbital helmet.

it looks similar to that new helmet that appeared in the leaked halo 2 anniversary trailer. the trailer was taken down.

Ignoring the helmet but the shape of the armor seems to match the armor from the first beta trailer.

I see a gray splotch on the helmet’s visor. Meaning I take it as Orbital.

But it’s a blur. That’s what we are assuming all this off of. Unfortunately, I think you’re gonna have to wait a few more months. :\

It is absolutely not security. It doesn’t look anything like security. It’s most likely something new, or a slightly redesigned version of an already existing armor set.

And for seconds’, Security Armor was, like Hayabusa, used based on another games’ licence and is NOT considered a part of the Halo IP. It belongs to Bungie, because they created the Marathon series which the armor was borrowed from. (I shouldn’t even have to tell you Hayabusa was borrowed from Ninja Gaiden, and required permission from Team Ninja to include in the game, which they allowed in exchange for the use of Spartan II Nicole in Dead or Alive). If Security Armor were ever to be in another Halo game, the license to use it would have to be given to Microsoft by Bungie.

I’m not seeing it.

From the second comparison with all the helmets it looks more like the Orbital helmet.

I also think this could be Military Police armor. It just doesn’t look like Security at all along with the fact that 343 can’t put Security in H5.

It could also just be new armor.

Does anyone else think the helmet looks flat on the top or is that just me and/or the blur?

For me it looks like the helmet of the first beta trailer, and not just it but the whole armor set, it was kind of obvious for me the first time I saw it.

I for one think 343 should explore a variety of licensing options. Spreading Halo IP seems to be very important to 343’s marketing/franchising arm, so why not continue the trend by starting with what has been very popular? I say they should put the Chief’s helmet wherever they can, and bring in some Halo-styled IP. It’s clearly popular, as Hayabusa and Security show.
