Secret hatch at top of mountain?

I found a hatch at the top of one of the higher mountains among forerunner artifacts, though nothing to interact with… anyone see this or know of it??it won’t let me add a pic because I’m a new user, maybe it will in the future…

Might be an Easter egg. The hatch from the TV show “Lost” crops up often in video games.

If there are a couple blinking lights on it, then I think it’s just a sentinel spawn area. It’s the same design as the ones in the Forerunner buildings.

Thanks for the replies- here is a link to Imgur page… I think it looks like a stone hatch, with hinge at the top and handle on the bottom, door carved out of stone with some symbols on it…

that stone forerunner structure is a memorial to Jens Hauch, a member of 343 who passed away last year.

Wow, thanks- saw the YouTube video with the clip. That’s a shame, but his memory lives on for guys like us to find:)
