I think I might have found out something about Halo 4.
Look at this picture
If you look to the right of the bigger chief, you can see a blacked out image of a Mark VI Spartan. Under it says “Spartan 3.”
Now in Glasslands it’s revealed that the remaining Spartan-IIIs would be integrated into the Spartan-IV program. Jun is also alive as well and could have recieved Mark VI if he made it to Earth.UPDATE. It’s actually “Spartan 1.”
Now I don’t think this should be considered a leak since this is from a public event.
Also the note cards stating what each figurine is called are off. I don’t see a Master Chief from “The Package” and a “Spirit of Fire Red Team” is just a Red Mark V Spartan from Reach with Grenadier kneeguards.

Also based on those pictures, it appears that McFarlane is going to make a Halo ring, and a Fred figurine (from the Package.)
McFarlane is going to make 3 secret characters for Halo 4. Since this one is the only image blacked out, it can be safely assumed to be a Spartan from Halo 4.

Ya that’s Fred. Did anybody else notice that almost all the cards next to the figurines are wrong? The Halo 4 chief is listed as “Master Chief-The Package.”

Oh ok. But even then, it must be like Spartan #1 or figurine #1. The fact is that it’s still blackened out. Other pictures next to it are not seen in their figurine form at the Toy Fair.
I think it’s still safe to say that this is one of the secret characters and is a Spartan.

It would be amazing if Chief would be reunited with his old team. Imagine the gameplay, the story. They’d arrive via Infinity, of course.

I agree with you 100%. Though right now, i’m expecting the novel haters to arrive and claim it would ruin things.

I like the novels and I think it’s a terrible idea. You make them co-op characters and you know nothing is going to happen to them, so good-bye tension. Even if they did die, who is going to replace them, generic S-IV or S-III number 56? I’m sure that’ll be popular. Then you have to go into detail and explain why these characters matter. Gears of War 3 introduced characters from the comics and novels and it failed completely at doing that. Not only that, but good luck explaining the significance of Chakas, the UNSC Infinity, the S-IVs in general and everything else the books brought up. Sure I’ve read them and get it, but the vast majority of the fanbase hasn’t.
