Anyone remember the Animatrix?
343 followed the Animatrix formula to the letter with Halo Legends.

Halo 5 is said to be darker than all the other Halo’s.

Anyone who remembers the Second Renaissance from the Animatrix knows what kind of level we’re getting in Halo 5.

If you think about it, the Forerunners attempting to imprison humanity fits “the machines” agenda perfectly.

So, Halo 5, UNSC assaults the Forerunners with everything they have. Prometheans or what have you fight back, anyone they kill they compose and it adds to their army.
Seeing as no Promethean actually dies, the UNSC loses numbers that adds to the enemy numbers. We lose.

Then Master Chief does something or other…

Yeah they really did.

2 part backstory episode to begin. And then a bunch of disjointed stories afterward each from different Anime studios.

Ive seen that episode dozens of times, and it still creeps me out.
