Im a little confused on what exactly Im supposed to do to participate in this?
You play the game…As in, play the ranked playlists for 10 games to get your initial placement rank, to then rank up the highest you can before Season 2 starts.

Rinse repeat 
seasons will be monthly (this one will be a little longer than a month). after your first 10 matches in one playlist you will be ranked…then you try to get through the tiers.

Thanks, so how is this different than what we had prior to today’s patch? Is it simply a matter of resetting your rank at the start of each season?

yeah i just logged on so i didn’t see it actually reset everything haha
