I have completed two cross-game playlists for the “Choose Your Own Adventure” challenge and have still yet to get it unlocked. Where as a friend who was playing with me got the challenge on the first playlist we did. I’m starting to think for whatever reason it’s just my client of MCC that’s broken, and cannot complete any seasonal challenges.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Try logging out an back into your account in the MCC menus. If the challenge isn’t instantly rewarded to you, then you may need to do another cross game playlist to see if it triggers the challenge. Another solution you could try is verifying your game files integrity. There is a chance however that none of these solutions could work as it seems there is widespread reports of the new season challenges being bugged for a large number of people (see “Because you Begged”).

Just finished a playlist i had done already just for the sake of it being quick, still didn’t pop the challenge. As well as verifying the files, and re-logging did not work.
I have the same issue, I believe you’re just going to need to do another cross-game playlist to fix it. It’s bizarre how playlists not registering has been an issue since the introduction of the challenge system, yet something totally random like completing Halo with a mongoose is somehow always able to go through.
I have the same problem, ive done two cross-game playlists and tried loggin off and then in again, didnt work. I use the steam verision of this game and had the same problem with (because you begged) challenge. I tried it at medium difficulty first and it didnt work, ive tried it on hard and it didnt worked, so i got on to legendary and then it worked. So my geuss is that the problem is in the difficulty triggers bound to the challenges that might be bugged.
I havent done this yet, but i think the only solution to get your (choose your own adventur) challenge has to be completed on legendary despite it not having any set difficulty to complete it on,
But i must say, continue the good work 343, you have done a great job so far with mcc in pc! Please continue with that
