Theyāre talking about the XP Grant. They grants are much more rare than XB boosts because theyāre mainly available for real $.
I think each season BP has had a couple, but most of the ones I have saved are from Game Pass ultimate rewards, events, and 343-sorry-packages

Iām not getting on until i see ānetwork fixesā being addressed in a patch note. Itās nice that the content is building up but if network issues continue to make the game unplayable, I refuse to get hyped for it.
But Iāll scalp some tickets for any who want to get on the train.

Now that weāve seen some info about some of the features coming, anyone changing votes?
Maybe 343 had earned just enough good will to boot be hated as the #1 result? 
I for one shall be playing ranked at the new update drop or at least my unranked matches since theyāre clearing all the ranks. Iāll be throwing my hands in the air and yelling āwhy me lord, why meā as my team is running wild and playing slayer no matter the objective and 2 people have quit so now itās 2v4 and my remote is low on batteries and there 10 min left. Iāll be placed at bronze 1 after a very impressive string of losses a near perfect 0-10. perhaps Iāll find out if thereās a level below bronze like corroded copper or something. Anyways looking forward to it I hope I delivers and makes my ranked dreams come true.

Hopefully, honestly what I want somfar is more cross core, and for god sakes I wish they brought back the OG custom color model and just make coatings an added layer to that.
Why they think, putting default cord like red or Blue in the store was a good call is something I cannot understand.
To me, removing the OG color choice style and replacing it rather than Adding the coatings as an additional choice seems like a rushed and lazy design choice.

I am mostly frustrated with the new half season, and thereās a few reasons why.
Part of me wants to go back to Halo Infinite and try it out again now that new content is coming to the game. The more rational part of my brain reminds me that the game feels downright awful to play, and the only thing I actually like about it are the visuals. Virtually anything else about the game is just downright awful, and playing it on PC, I am seeing and hearing nothing about fixes to the experience.
What really set me off, was Ske7chās tweets about Red Reticle on PC, because he clarified that it is POST Winter Update that PC players will be able to get a feature that is ALREADY in the game. Something that, from a player-focused perspective, I assume would be easy enough of a fix that a developer could go into the files right now and change a 1 to a 0 or vice-versa so that the game is more playable on PC.
But to get 343 to do what feels like anything to improve the player experience, it feels like having the studio move a mountain and it takes roughly as long as well. The game feels awful to play on a mouse. There is rife desync and netcode issues that havenāt been fixed almost a year on and there is no hint of them being fixed a year on. I canāt tell who is an ally and who is an enemy because the Coating system means that thereās no unified Red vs Blue for quick threat identification (a feature I would pay a subscription fee for access to). Thereās the more personal gripes, like how I hate 90% of the weapon sandbox and the changes that 343 made to it for the sake of changing it as opposed to sandbox health.
Whatever is coming with the Winter Update - Forge, Match XP Beta (how ridiculous a BETA is for thatā¦), the free Battle Pass, new Forge matchmaking maps - isnāt addressing the core of what I feel needs to be fixed for Infinite. I have no idea when the game will be more playable on PC because 343 isnāt even giving me an estimate, and the only way to figure out is for a random lightning strike chance that 343 decides to tweet at me on a platform I donāt even use. It is so frustrating to be a Halo fan these days. I want to like Halo Infinite. I still check the shop via Waypoint or lurking on the Halo Reddit to see if anything cool comes up. It feels like 343 doesnāt want to make me like Halo.
TL;DR still frustrated by the lack of progress on the technical side. Until the technical side issues are resolved, the Winter Update is nice, but a band-aid on a severed limb.

Apparently one of my buddies who played a ton with me last year is crazy excited to hit coop with me, and I had no idea until yesterday

A friend wanted to try campaign, so Iāll co-op with him! Trying some Forge recreating some places in my city making them futuristic and competitive

Still a looooong way to go. But if they can use the Winter Update as a launching pad into Season 3ā¦

Itāll take 343 some more consistency and Ws to begin to curry favour with the existing playerbase. Maybe if things continue to go well, youāll see that option drop out of the top 3 sometime after Season 3
