I hate you, I hate 343, Infinite is a joke, and I donāt know why you still have it installed. Go play a game that works Halo boomer!
Other: Unless they allow us to select (and Honour) the Server we play one, the game is just as dead to me as it was before Nov 8th. I play Solo (none of my friends will touch it anymore - I doubt if I could pay / bribe them to even download it) and 80% of the time it connects me to some server in Amsterdam while Iām in Alberta Canada. With ping times of 250+ ms (update rate of 4 fps), the game is unplayable trash. 20% it gives me ~ 30 ms ping times and I know from playing MCC / H5 - thatās the NW USA (Seattle) servers.
So unless this is resolved, itās still dead to me.

Iām honestly super luke warm on it . Very pumped for 343ās aspirations they have for the future of Infinite after S3 launches though.
In my professional life I write in two different coding languages in addition to a toolset that reminds me of the forge scripting nodes from what weāve seen. So Iām pumped to see what I can make happen in the scripting tools. Iām excited to try and do things like recreate CS buying & bomb modes, and recreate breakout .

That sounds pretty solid, and sort of like what Iāll likely do. Right now I only play Infinite to complete the weekly challenges if I like the unlock that week, and otherwise Iām spending my game time in State of Decay 2. So instead of forge->MCC Iāll be forge->SoD2.
(Iāve just played those legacy titles so much at this point. I was there at CEās launch)
Hopefully we can have a lot of fun dinking around in forge though!
Nothing wrong with that! A customs browser at the same time as forge would have gone a long way, but hopefully the collective feature set of Season 2.5 will be solid enough to bring back some enthusiasm for the game.
Completely agree! Iāve been saying for a couple months now that no matter what content Infinite puts out, itās dead in the water without improvements to the server configs and aim mechanics.

Yea, thatās what Iāve been saying since before this last road map launched lol. I think collectively weāre all kinda of thinking āIāll believe it when I see itā.
If you end up having someone to try out coop with, Iād still recommend giving it a shot one day. My buddy and I got ~1/3rd of the way through the campaign during the coop flight. Halo coop shenanigans and the freedom of the open world was like 4x as fun as I thought it was going to be lol.
I wouldnāt waste tier skips on a pass thatās so small with so much time to complete, but thatās just me lol.

Omgosh no kidding! I have less and less patience to put up with the BS that are Infiniteās servers every time I log in. Itās like pulling your teeth for 3 games, and then you get one really good feeling game that reminds you Infinite can be fun. Then right back to pulling teeth lol.
