I have come to the conclusion that the ranking system in this game is completely broken. I got 6-4 w-L during the qualifying and got into bronze 4. Also I didn’t play poorly I went about 17/8 k/d per game. So this game is unbalanced and broken in so many ways.

I thought it was strange so I did a little digging and then it became blatantly obvious haha
If anything the game has placed you in the correct division as if you were placed in platinum I doubt you would have an enjoyable experience in the playlist.

Yep I think you belong in bronze. Multiplayer Kd of 0.6 with 46% WL I’d say the system is very fair.

I have to agree that the rankings are broken though. Each season it places me lower than I was, and I fight my way back up to Diamond again. It’s getting annoying tbh, and taking the fun out of playing.
And there’s something weird going on, as I was still playing against unranked players yesterday before the reset. Some of them were very good players, so there’s obviously a lot of smurf accounts going around.
With things the way they are, the game is becoming less enjoyable for me. They seem to have made a real mess of things, and have no real control over the cheaters and exploits going around.

Not trying to stat flame, but judging by them, I see why you have to fight your way back to Diamond (like me). I usually get placed around Plat 5 or 6 tho, so it’s no biggie.
Just take it man. I’m Always a mid-tier Onyx player, but still I’ve lost about half of the matches. I dropped the ball and didn’t set up enough and got placed constantly against plats/diamonds. Got placed in Diamond 5. Just take it like a man and get to the rank you belong. Besides, finding matches way faster now.

If he was just honest with himself could have avoided this embarrassment. DoH! 17:8 KD huh? 
Trust me, you’re better off in bronze. I typically get high ranks in Arena (whether I want them or not) and any playlist that I rank diamond or higher is just no fun. Getting nothing but sweaty games isn’t worth a small ego boost.

I play almost 100% arena slayer. I do agree that the ranking system needs help. What decides the progression wheel? Why get 11/11 k/d and lose and your progression drops. Why get 7/10 k/d and win and your progression goes up? I thought it would be more logical, beat a team lower than you and gain little, beat a team ahead gain a lot…
I can’t tell but do you always get / lose the same amount on progression? I think it would be really nice if after a match it said how much you gained / lost in progression as a number also. Maybe even a team ranking number, even before the match starts. Your team rank 500 vs 600 maybe you play harder knowing you’ll gain more.
Also would love to be given the option after losing x amount of games on the bottom of a medal to be able to drop down and have fun again.
There’s a lot more variables than simply K/D that you should consider when looking at someones performance in a slayer game. Granted they may have died more than their teammates but if their positioning blocked a spawnzone that forced the other team to spawn in a location were their teammates could easily kill the enemy team, well that is a job well done. Or another example burning OS, sure you died but you prevented the other team from getting it.
Once you hit Onyx I think individual performance factors in more.

I know what you mean dude, I’m an onyx player but I searched solo and got wrecked now i’m diamond 2.
i just did my placement games in swat and i got onyx with a .7 kd
