I’m trying to save up 91-100 points for the next season because I’m convinced Halo 4 Mark V is gonna happen and might be top tier. Right now I have 74 points and I’ve completed 19/30 firefight matches, which would be another 7 points, so 81. Another 2 weeks of challenges and I’m there.
but what if I get careless and save up over 100 points and that’s the cap? I’m over level 100 so points aren’t as easy to come by for me now. I really don’t know what it is.

As far as I’m aware, there is no cap. Coming into this current season, I had 40+ points saved and was able to buy almost everything in the ODST pass.

Im like 90% sure Halo 4 customisation wont be limited like Reach stuff at least I would hope not.

But nothing is limited. Sure you have the Seasonal Rewards which are, but you get enough time to acquire them (hopefully). They are going to return at some point once the season is over, we just don’t know when. As for the items themselves for each season, they stay. Only get thrown under a tab when a new season begins.

Oh, that’s why! I have unlock everything since half of Season 1 with the new challenges, so that could explain why I have lesser points! xD

Yeah looking back on them it was a complete waste of time for me to buy anything in Season 2 or in this current season.
The only thing I really wanted was a purple visor in Halo 3 and I have just that.

If you have been completing all your challenges there is no reason to save, I have everything across all the seasons and 55 points. We have at least 5 weeks before Halo 4 is released give or take a week so I mean I will have 105 points by the time the next season rolls around, assuming they do 100 levels I will have enough season points to complete that pass as long as it follows the trend set for the first few seasons. Unless they do something like give us 150 or more unlocks or making some items worth 2 points like last season, although it only had 65 items to unlock.

Probably not what was in at launch, but maybe Champions Bundle armor will be. That’s what I’m worried about. Need my Mark V ASAP

Here’s a tip. Reach Firefight works for a ton of PVE challenges. You can bump your damage up to 300% and then add custom skulls for enemies to have 10% health. Modify the waves for what you need, or save variants for each one. Focus rifle cuts through elites like butter. Also counts for the sniper challenge.
nightfall for sniper level challenge. Floodgate for flood level challenge. If you need more flood kills, grind the hallway before the endless pit in Keyes. Heroic, Uplift Reserve. Playlist progression, ODST playlist starting with uplift reserve. Those’ll get you your under 20 minutes challenge too.
