Been a lot of chatter about what could make up for the devastating release of Halo Master Chief Collection, and the dreadful experience users had in November.
In good faith, I think 343/Microsoft should consider giving any one of us early adopters of the Xbox One / Halo MCC the Season pass of Halo 5 for free if you decide to purchase Halo 5.
Otherwise, I think it’s foolish for any of us to trust 343 by investing in another one of their games.
No, the maps should be free in general, otherwise we will never play those maps outside of the DLC dedicated playlist.
I’m torn on this since I like the idea of a free season pass but at the same time it makes sense to make all of them free as dlc since tired of the previous Halo games where a map would never turn up because someone didn’t have the right map pack, etc…

I agree for those that pre-ordered the game since they expected us to have faith in their product so it’s only respectful they do the same. Not as if we’re asking for the full game but if we’re planning to pre-order again after the broken MCC then it be nice if they gave us something as an apology.
Should have a vote for a free map for Halo 5.
It will be interesting to see what they decide for reimbursement for TMCC.

I agree. Look at Halo 4, very few people play the DLC dedicated playlists.

Reach’s DLC was handled in the absolute worse way possible, where people spent money on maps we never got to play. Then Halo 4 goes the same route, only this time I knew not to waste my money on it. Unless they handle it like Halo 2 and 3 DLC, where it was required to play, it should be free.

I hated 2 and 3s way. I couldn’t even play the modes that I wanted because it required the paid DLC that I didn’t want to spend money on. I shouldn’t have to spend $20+ on top of the $60 game just to enjoy it.
They should give us Halo 5 for free after this disaster.

Halo 2/3 way has been the best so far. We actually got to play our DLC. There was plenty of game modes available that were not DLC required.
DLC in halo will not be free, I wish people would wake up. MS will never do it unless someone like mountain dew for example paids them big bucks and then we get advertising in the game, no thanks!!
I’m not a fan of season passes if it’s anything like the new cod where you can only play the zombie mode if you get it. That’s HUGE BS! And no I’m not a cod fan and stop playing after cocbo1. I just know MS love cod and can see them telling 343I to use this method. Just image “Hey everyone firefight is back, but you only get it if you buy the seasons pass” such BS
Season passes like how they are in other games aren’t too bad.
I don’t know what people will get for the worst video game launch in history aka MCC, but it better be something good that’s all i have to say.

Anyway, the DLC maps are free in monthly content updates. Not talking to the others in the thread.
