I know that there are going to be lots of these forum posts popping up, but I don’t really want to be trawling through page after page for an answer to this question: Is there an reason why the Limited Edition season pass doesn’t come with the bonus helmets and emblem?
Honestly, we have no idea. Nobody has explained why exactly the LE doesn’t come with Strider or Scanner.
Not a logical one.
It doesn’t make any sense for them to give the LE purchasers all of the maps if it doesn’t include the bonuses. It forces them to buy the map pack as well if they want those helmets.
They literally had to go out of their way to design one version of the Season Pass with bonuses, and one without. It’s greedy -Yoink-. Love, -Yoink!-.
As of right now 343 says one thing and Microsoft the other, nobody knows right now.
It never was to begin with. The prime armor skins and enblem will be part of the package.
Thoug most people are mad about the specializations
The Limited Edition already get the Prime Armour Skin, Prime Assault Rifle Skin & Prime Emblem.
The WGMP stuff is exclusive to the standalone WGMP purchasers.
Each pre-order is it’s own sku and has it’s own bonus. Buying one that contains the other doesn’t mean that you get both. The community just assumed it did. It was never stated that you get both bonuses for ordering LE.

The LE buyers should get the Scanner and the Strider helmet, since we’re not getting the Recruit armor exclusively anymore!
pretty sure frankie had posted somewhere that you would not be getting the scanner and strider helmets from the war games packs that come with the LE game and LE console. I definitely saw this some where.
guess enough people complained about LE loosing value so you get it now, good job?

The Recruit armor was never exclusive, the name is Recruit as in when you first start to play, everyone gets it. The Prime skin for the Recruit armor is exclusive however.
Its a backup sales plan. In cases where SE is purchased instead of LE, microsoft may make less from this.
For less devout Halo fans and those who just ended up with SE, 343i and microsoft now have a small “incentive” for those that go out and purchase extra content(Halo map packs) rather than stick with the starting map packs in multiplayer matchmaking.
Essentially its candy encouraging you to buy stuff. Get this and we’ll throw this in for you. -> LE people already have this content so why dangle candy at them? They’re not paying for anything else.
(I’m an LE purchaser but I’m happy not getting 2 hideous looking helmets in my point of view. especially the vcr casset playing helmet ‘Scanner’ wtf; and people say FOTUS looks funny and stupid?)
