Does anyone the season 8 release date
Not announced yet. Flight should be very soon.

unless they walk back the armor set release schedule, then it could be a week, maybe two (they Have H:O sets in Reserve, if the community is loud enough they might pull some of the weird S8 armors and put some of those in place to try and quell the outrage.)

I doubt they would hold back these armors. More folks were upset over the HO armors than the mythic set. If anything I imagine the FF updates, New map, and improved performance for CEA will be the features that get pushed back to season 9.

If they didn’t delay the Online armor sets upon first reveal, they’re not gonna delay these either. They can cry all they want.

There’s more people who dislike these sets than those who disliked the H:O ones, however a lot of the people who disliked the H:O armors as well as these new ones are content with the toggle so they see no reason to take issue this time around.
The people who are the most upset this time are largely the people who liked the H:O armors since now they are finding themselves in the same boat as the legacy folks were back then with regards to H:O, same goes for those who liked the restoration of Reach’s Cut DLC armor, since the devs are considering counting it as “non legacy” due to having restored it with MCC, they can’t toggle this armor off since it will toggle their preferred armors off too.
At this rate season 8 won’t come out till October.

good question. The flights should be starting in the next 2 days, and could go for as long as a week. After that the team usually needs 2-3 weeks to polish the build, fixing all of the bugs that exist. So my estimation for a release of S8 is September 24th - October 7th.
