Hi, I wrote an entire Post about it just a couple of hours ago, but I though I’d try my luck here as well.
Since the recent restructuring of Halo Waypoint, a couple of these press kit posts are unavailable as of now. I’m not sure in what capacity they still exist and can be restored, but since they have been a valuable source for Halo Media assets, i wanted to bring it up that it would be great if you could try and bring them back.
It is increadibly hard to reliably track down the images in those posts (trust me, ive tried for the better parts of 2 weeks now), and even if you find and collect individual pieces, you never know if there are files missing, or if they are still in their original quality. Most websites use compression in one form or another to display images, and very few offer downloadable files.
If those posts do not exist anymore, or their retrieval is too time consuming (which is totally understandable), it would still be fantastic if someone could take the time and set up a little official .zip file with all of their contents, including key art, wallpapers, social media banners, seasonal teasers and whatever else there was in the posts.
For anyone else reading this, I’d be happy to collect whatever files you guys have downloaded from those posts. If I find enough, I might make a .zip folder myself and post it somewhere for others to download. I have the full season 6 and 8 because these posts are still up, and most wallpapers from the other seasons, though theres still alot missing.
Any help, from either 343 themselves or the community, is greatly appreciated!
