I genuinely hope you are right. I guess I just don’t see it happening for quite some time. The psychological manipulation of players to spend money is so effective that I believe the popularity will remain for quite a while.
Not sure if this is part of Season 3 or not, but since it’s close enough to the event I’d say it’s news to me. But they are rewarding people that get their forge created maps into the community map play lists with a coating for at least 4 of the cores cores:

Probably has this coating for all cores, just there’s a 4 image limit on twitter so yeah. I do hope that they get a little bit more, if they go forward and decide to make it an official map later on.
But it’s a cool jester towards though that really are passionate into making custom maps.

The Shop is evolving in Season 3 of Halo Infinite:
What this means can be summed up in four main points:
- There will be a half-week slot which refressh every Tuesday and Friday
- There will overall be more offers throughout the season
- The Shop will have a consistent layout
- Dailies will refresh every day
The Shop will also see the addition of “Super Bundles,” which provides players the opportunity to buy multiple offers packages together at once-- at a price that is substantially less then buying each of them individual.
Sadly, no mention of just wanting to buy individual items still, getting stuck with items that one may not be interested in at all.

The guy doesn’t mention it, but the Coatings for the armors all share the same visor and I wonder if that’s apart of it as well. The visor goes with it well IMO.
It’s in the original post. He refers to it as ‘coating and visor’.
It’s a nice colour match to the lighting on the armour. Probably brighter than I would choose given complete freedom to choose but it’s a very nice combo.

Looks like the Bandit Rifle might be a BTB starting weapon, presuming it’s going to replace the pistol. This could be what I was hoping for, meaning the Commando and Battle Rifle will still be there for people to grab, but a better ranged option since BTB maps are generally larger and could use a good spawning ranged option.
I would be ok with that 
Depending how it works that might be ok. I’ve always suggested AR/Commando starts so if the bandit is just a long range version of the sidekick then that would probably work.
I’m excited. My two favourite weapons in Halo 5 were the Magnum and the DMR.
And the Bandit Rifle has been referenced, at various times, to both those weapons.

You know I really hope this update helps Halo. It won’t save it…not even close. But it is a start and I can’t wait to jump into the new content.
