Season 3: Echoes Within Latest Trailer

I look forward to seeing the Gungame mode get a ton of thrown at it because “Why do I have to put up with this garbage weapon”. You know people are going to go start nonsense about specific guns when that mode comes out lol.

I really hope they fine tune all the weapons before that mode comes out, to at least minimalize the complaints. Other wise we may never heard the end of the complaints…

Brings back memories of that one game mode where you start with the Mangler and Disruptor. How about when you get the Plasma Pistol and no alternatives to use along side it lol.

I’m not sure where it fits in compared to the BR and Commando. Still a new weapon is nice to have.

I think its one of those Tier 2 weapons. Like the Ravager, Stalker and Shock rifle spawns. Its not a primary like BR or commando because of its high kill time

It definitely looks good but not getting overly excited yet.

My primary wants are BTB and PvE stuff. We’re getting the one BTB map and that’s great, but Infinite still lacking on variety on that front.

Solid trailer, and i think Season 3 is going to be a pretty great update.

It still feels like BTB is getting the shaft though . That’s my main takeaway.

For other thoughts though, I think the shroud screen is going to be a great addition to ranked and HCS. I think we’re going to end up seeing some crazy out plays with that thing.

The bandit rifle coming in top the game is going to likely have a really good impact on the sandbox. Between it, the BR, and the sidekick I imagine we’ll see distinct roles of a 4v4 utility weapon separated from a 12v12 utility weapon. In H5 343 moved the BR to be the main BTB/Warzone utility weapon, while the pistol was established as the 4v4 utility weapon.

Could this be the beginning of the uphill climb out of the hole for 343? Possibly, but after all the other failed updates I still have some doubts. I’d rather wait until next month before I start getting all hyped up for nothing again.

Just more cosmetics to a fundamentally broken/unfinished game, meh. They can throw a 1000-tier free BP, 20 armor cores, 50 maps and 15 modes, but with forced crossplay and desync completely destroying all the fun of the game it’s all for nothing. Just as always, people see something new and get hyped as hell forgetting how bad the game still is, only to come back after a week complaining about the exact same old things they’ve been since launch. Fix/finish your game first 343.

While the trailer looked exciting and it’s causing hype, this is the thing people seem to be forgetting. A while after having played the new content people will just realize it’s still the same game and they’ll leave again

It’s OK. Kind of weird and a bit separated from Halo atmospherically (Feels a lot like any generic action movie, but not in a terrible way), but at least it doesn’t make me feel bored.

While I’m excited to try out some of the new Armor, play the new maps & get my hold on the DMR again, I’m keeping my expectations to the minimal.

But the story for it has caught my attention and I’m interested to see more

i’ll be honest they really know how to make infinite look fun but still doesn’t look like much. infinites just getting gun game and the DMR, the new maps look cool but i just know im gonna play it and get bored very fast. i just want something more, something big like tons of new weapons, vehicles, firefight or warzone returning. they’re probably working on it now but for me i want it out like Last Year!!!

Honestly though Halo fans are so unspoiled by 343 that when we get a patch we get hyped because we finally won’t die millions of times by a dumb bug.
