I’m getting around 10 FPS in the customisation menu on a Series X, so they definitely screwed something up real bad.
I also significant frame rate issues on Cliffhanger. The map looks awesome but if I’m set to 60 fps I get noticeable stuttering. If I set it to 120 it’s a fair bit smoother but still dropping at times and there’s obvious drop offs in resolution as well.
That combined with the ‘Underperforming’ deaths debacle, settings resetting for some people and the now traditional ‘challenges not working’ really takes the shine of what should have been a promising season launch. Hope they can sort these things out soon before too many people leave again.
OH good, the final task for getting this weeks participation trophy is just to play 5 matches. Once I can get that done I can just play BTB till I complete the 100 tier list.
I also noticed on cliffhanger every once in a while some objects will get this weird force field type thing around it. I don’t know really how to explain it but it looks really weird.

All the birds on the one map are seemingly broken. They’re trying to fly but are all stuck on the ground.

lol i seen that too. like they were dying or something. weird.
It only happens in escalation slayer from what I’ve seen. I have no idea why it either though. I don’t mind the shield effects around the outside but the smaller ones through the maps seem strange.
At first I thought maybe it had to do with the story or something because of ONI and all but the shield effect randomly appeared and then the gravity of the game totally messed up. Every time I would jump it felt like I was being pushed right back down to the ground and not just like normal like you went down really fast.
So whats the best way to utilize this Shroud Screen?
Using to break line of sight. Sit outside to see enemies go in on one side and jump them when they come out. It’s a good utility if you have low shields and need to get out. You can back up and fire it at your feet as you continue to move. This breaks line of sight and turns off aim assist so players can’t feel you out based off that and bullet magnetism doesn’t engage.

Actually the shroud screen can stick to things. So just stick it to a friend and run around the map so you will never be spotted or stick it on the enemy and cause mass confusion.
Try to hit the enemy team with it…
- Their vision is blocked inside it
- Circles small enough to nade anyone inside or use explosive
- Sphere stands out like sour thumb, everyone on the map will see it, it draws attention to it
Use as distraction
- Shoot it to were your team might not be, as I said, it can draw attention with how visible it is.
It’s most effective against those using precision weapons
On a side note I’m almost half way done with the battle pass already. I hope no one really purchased the 2800 one, cause the way they give out exp it’s honestly not worth it for the instant 25 level jump lol. Not even been 48 hours yet.

It’s supposed to be live 2 pm est. I’m in Maine, it’s almost 3 and multiplayer is still unavailable… Plz help.
It does not stick to things. It actives upon impact and stays in place. You can not apply it to a Spartan or warthog and have them run around with it active on them like the threat sensor.
I’m sorry what? You trollin’? Because it’s showing you posted that 15 minutes ago and it’s 9am currently not 3pm in Maine.

Thanks for the info. I just assumed you could because it looked like it stuck to things. Sorry for the misinformation guys.

Check out your updates section on your XBOX, if not installed yet it’ll be there. Let it download & install, then relaunch the game.
I’m truly really happy with this change coming to the Halo Infinite Shop. It’s a great move in the right direction.
I think it should be able to stick to vehicles. There was a hog tearing our base up on deadlock last night and no one with any anti vehicle stuff was targeting it. I got a direct hit on the hood of the hoof with it hoping I could essentially blind the gunner and driver. Maybe we’ll get this in a future update
Due to the third person view and variable fov this would most likely not help. It might turn aim assist off for the small area around the gun, but other than that it wouldn’t be too effective.
