Well it looks like they were making a lot of fixes too multiplayer in season 2 but have absolutely nothing for us campaign players

The campaign probably won’t get touched until they release the next chapter which could be in 2 or 3 years.
I’m betting on 3 expansions at most one every 3 years.

i dont think it a be that long. they dont have to make new engine , weapons, ext. its just build on what they got. the point of infinite was to be able to add content faster for campaign at least. Id expect we will get the next chapter next year. It would probably be as large as the first campaign as well, just in a new biome.

It could be in stages like this. but this would be the release cycle of a normal halo game.
I am betting that we wish it was this kind of release cycle but it will actually be once every year with a spartan ops kind of experience. Minimal story addition with recycled gameplay.
Only time will tell.

i think once they sort out the base game, more content will come quicker, that’s what’s holding everything back right now.

Isn’t campaign co-op coming in Season 2?
Also, I don’t think they can implement co-op without updating the campaign to allow replaying of individual missions.

We can look forward to the Microsoft Game online press conference in summer this year.
There are many new things in the unpacked game files, such as new vehicles, new turrets and Prophet’s Bane

Agreed, I was sold the campaign as a “live-service,” but it has gotten zero new content thus far…
I have a nagging suspicion that we won’t be getting much new campaign content, and that when it does, it will totally ignore the existing campaign/open world that needs so much more, instead it will just tack on more crap.

People thinking that season 2 is going to magically make this game better are in for a nastly surprise. All the little bandaids won’t heal the broken bones.

Armored cars and Banished Sleds don’t look good for PVP.
Mongoose with Triangular Pedrail Wheel should be used in snow environment.

I’m not too sure if they have fully released the first camping yet!
I kind of see Season 2 as a stability reset.
They need to fix the core issues; better matching on latency, desync fixes, XP progression, etc.
It’s frustrating - but there isn’t a lot of point pushing forward until these things are under control.
Then they can start pushing content.
And hopefully by then Forge and a custom Browser can swoop in and save the day.
