Personally, I think Lone Wolf, at least the armour, will be about the Spartan 3s, since many Spartan 3’s were “Lone Wolves” while doing missions.
Granted this means that the Spartan 3s would get 2 in row as the still current season was about Noble Team, mainly made of Spartan 3’s.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was. The armor does indeed look VERY similar to SPI armor. I’m a huge fan of it, it looks sick. Not sure about the “lone wolves” thing though. From what I’ve read, Spartan 3s were trained to work almost exclusively in a team. Even headhunters worked in teams of 2. Noble six was really the only notable “lone wolf”, as far as I know.
I get the impression they’re leaning more into the Spartan branch having different unit types in it. Think Space Marines from Warhammer 40k where you have Reavers, Intercessors, Aggressors, Terminators who all have different armour and unique roles in the army.
So it wouldn’t surprise me if this is the scout/reaver Spartan armour that we get other Spartan formations with their own armour core.
So they aren’t Spartan 3 but Spartans who have joined this particular military formation that use that armour and fight in a certain manner. Instead of just all being Spartans.
