I an currently enjoying season 2 and the things it has brought thus far. I like the armor, i like having an event right out the gate, Last Spartan standing is really fun and enjoyable. However, one thing Infinite has been missing, besides a lot of the obvious, is variety. Adding new varieties to SWAT a little while back was great. Seeing FFA get a new mode is also welcomed and great. I think Last Spartan Standing needs some variety too. Adding a Duos and Quads mode would not only bring friends together to play, but would also add variety to the meta of the mode. Playing this mode alone in FFA is fun, similiar to solos in a br. However, playing with team mates (even randoms) is a totally different and unique experience. I have no doubt this mode would thrive if they added team elements, it is a very streamable game mode too. To further this, adding other BTB maps, and other weapons would be great too. Having a way to achieve a Sniper with 4 shots, Cindershot with no reserve ammo, Stalker rifle, shock rifle, Hydra, even throwing a needler in there would all be welcome. These could be obtained thru drop pods or achieving a really high score or some other implementable way.
Ranked should have variety to choose from on the menu such as SWAT, FFA, Last Spartan and snipers. And BTW where is snipers? Is it coming up soon? I thought it was meant to be here on launch of S2? Any way, yeah. Modes need to keep adding variety like they have been, but maybe I’m thinking more widespread.
I would also like to request or add my “vote” to saying we would appreciate an updated road map for within S2 and launch of S3. I’m curious to have even an estimate on when Cross Cores, Co Op and other modes and features will be added. I guess an ETA on drop pods per month
