Season 1’s long running Fracture event is Fiesta, and it has been with, mixed reception.
Due to the naming of the upcoming season, and then the upcoming FFA elimination mode, I suspect the Fracture game mode will be FFA.
I’m not an FFA player, so I hope it isn’t.
Tenrai: Fiesta isn’t related to “Heroes of Reach”
Could be possible but it is more likely they use that to add in a another mode
And chances are Season 1 wasn’t planned very well and they just made a witch’s brew. Threw stuff in to have something for the players.
The BP is a lot of fillers, some of the stuff of the season isn’t Reach related, and stuff from the BP even got cut.
I would’ve much rathered them have the BP be the MK. V (b) core and then the MK. VII was the paid core. You get the core for $5 with 1-3 items per customization option and then you can buy more from the store.
If the event playlist is FFA then that’s okay, but if it’s elimination it’ll be absolute pain and might not be something I even play. MMR in this game is horrendous and always ends in unfair games.
Tactical Slayer has made that painfully clear.
What if it is Juggernaut?
That would seem to fit the “tough Miner” feel I think
I wouldn’t mind Juggernaut. Something that has an element of fun to it.
If it was an elimination FFA then that’s just as unforgiving as having a flinch-mode where the fastest shooter usually wins and connection can sometimes lose you matches.
Count me out of that is the case. FFA is my most hated mode.
It is an actual social mode because you don’t really need to be “good” at the game to have fun
Plus, it wouldn’t get old as fast as Fiesta did
Yeah totally, I mean Juggernaut is a classic party game in Halo.
Fiesta is just random. You shouldn’t have RNG tied to winning a game.

Fiesta wouldn’t have been too bad if it weren’t for the challenge system and if it wasn’t stretched out for so long
I would love for it to be FFA, I may actually come back to Infinite for that.
I hope it’s not FFA… it’d take me forever to get all the challenges done if they’re similar to the ones for the current and previous events.
If there’s any that say “win X number of FFA matches”, I have no hope in hell and would use a challenge swap immediately 
Actually, the more I think about it, Juggernaut actually makes sense.
The fracture core looks like a tough, hard-to-crack spartan, Juggernaut would really fit the theme of the fracture imo.

If its FFA I literally wont youch the game till season 3, I can be sure of that.
They won’t do that because statistically it would be nearly impossible for everyone to win one since only 1 of 8 players can at once. Then throw in the need for multiple wins, and the whole thing falls apart.
I mean, I’ve only ever won 2 FFA games in Infinite.

That’s a good point, I hope it isn’t either. I’m not particularly bad at FFA, I tend to do fairly well. But I hate it and it makes me violently angry.
It’s gonna be the “Last Spartan Standing” mode I presume. Yea that’s the thing about 343’s Events which I really hate : they keep shoving you into game modes which people understandably don’t wanna play, and it just stressed everyone out.
On one hand you have those who just want rewards and get out, on the other you have players who want to play the mode but it disappears after 2weeks. Like why? Just why?
Imo Events should be less of a game mode, but a concept applied to the core gameplay which you can then play as a modifier.
BTB - but no Shields
BTB - but only Rockets
FFA - but only Plasma Pistols
Tenrai should have been X game mode, but Swords and Thrusters only
Attrition - X game mode but revives enabled
And the list goes on.
Originally Im assuming Tenrai was only meant to be for three months not six.
However…
Back in November, we all complained about the lack of playlists and they gave us fiesta and FFA.
I’m going to assume this was due to them being already pre made for the free events… fiesta for tenrai and FFA for season 2s free event.
I think the free fracture event will be FFA. I don’t mind but I do wish they mix it up with BR/AR - Human/Cov etc starts.
