Season 2 - 3 Months or 6?

Not if forge has no connection to the battle pass. It can be released at any time. Personally I believe Season 2 will be 3 months. Forge on the other hand can come at any time. A bit like that elusive progression system.

I might actually buy the campaign if or when they start talking about it. It’s like they have forgotten about it. Coop though… I’m not holding my breath at the moment.

3 months at first. 6 months when they inevitably delay it.

Please don’t be 6 months, 6 months for Season 1 was bad enough

The simple reasoning could be that most of the contrnt for Season 3 is still under development and as such, in subject to be changed.

They main things I would prefer to see is blog posts that discusses the current development process and more insightful discussions about features that are in different phases in the planning and development process.

Not definitely not. To me Halo is Forge and scripting.

I was just trying to point out that Forge isn’t necessarily tied to “Season 3”. It could just as well be tied to a month or a yearly quarter.

???

I’ve obviously upset you somewhere along the way.

Ots a surprise mechanic

Sure buddy. Whatever you want to think.

I don’t think we’re buddies.

And I’m completely lost at why my discussion with @BlueDevistator about Forge and Season 3 make me a shill? Especially because we both clearly agree that delaying Forge in anyway would be bad.

I didn’t say it did, and it’s not a discussion

Have you been living under a rock your entire life?

Yet, you specifically told him, in regards to our interaction, to ignore me because I am supposedly a “shill”.

You’re right. It’s not a discussion. It’s the twilight zone.

Probably.

I’m assuming we’ve had disagreement in threads about SBMM and/or ranking. Don’t take it personally. I’m not great with remembering usernames, or holding grudges if we don’t end up agreeing.

But seriously. Do all your forum interactions end up being semi-hostile? Or am I just lucky?

3 months, they won’t go for longer

Absolutely. That’s exactly what I was trying to say…they can’t provide a roadmap or announce season durations until content in development has been confirmed with an ETA. I’m sure they will have deadlines in place that trigger decisions and communications either way, but the lack of transparency of information doesn’t help the player base…although you could argue that, and I think Joe Staten already said, if they haven’t got anything to concrete good news then it’s best not to say anything as it would either raise expectations or lower confidence in the community…however I’m pretty sure they mentioned they would make a public Trello board similar to COD to track fixes, updates and content but it hasn’t materialised yet.

Ah yes, I’m a jerk, but it is totally fine to call my opinion meaningless and other insults just because I have a different opinion.

Sigh. That’s just silly.

Not really

Anyway, this is derailing the thread, so I suggest we just move on since this really isn’t constructive.

Hopefully 3 months, season 1 kept me pretty interested for 2-3 months, once the battlepass maxed out and the playlists got super tired i started only playing events and for a couple weekly rewards.

But more importantly than how long the season lasts theyve gotta get to regular playlist updates, even just a variant in or out every week or 2 would be great, like add btb BR(battle rifle) to the playlist, or ffa oddball, whatever really, just keep things fresh and itll keep people playing

Its 6 months.

They have already said it without saying it.

Forge flights for winter then to be released with season 3.

Get ready to enter another desert of content drought. Might get another new map and another bunch of stoopid emblems by Christmas.

Worst live service ever.

Hopefully we get an answer in this weeks Infinite update/ blog post.
Here’s hoping the community manager remains consistent with it, the past week of info has been nice.

Yeah, there was a ton of great stuff in the blogs.
The unfortunate thing is, most of it was coming soonTM
