I think H4-5 made forget just how CLOSE you had to get for that 1 shot kill. Damn near had to shove it down their throat in Reach. So most time you had to take 2 shots or melee them.
Or throw grenades into their hidey hole, grab OS and double melee their face, armor lock them if playing reach, Hardlight shield deflection if playing H4, Ninja them…
List goes on.
This is exactly what I though when I read it. Admitting it is there without saying when (or IF) it’s going to be fixed doesn’t give me any incentive to re-install Halo Infinite on my Xbox. Until they sort it out and the few people left playing confirm they actually did fix it, the game is dead to me. I’m not playing a FPS shooter that has 250 ms ping times because their matchmaking thinks that a Server in Amsterdam (which is 250+ ms ping time) is closer to Alberta Canada than Seattle (which is 25 ms ping times).
Same here. I’ve been monitoring and recording my server connections for each game since the geo filter update (I’ve posted results on here). Initially I was getting approx 85% EU servers but over the last few weeks that decreased significantly to just over 50%. As such, I simply refuse to play a game that forces me to regularly play on 85-155ms ping servers so I’m longer playing Halo Infinite. I may consider returning if and when they provide regional server selection and resolve the desync issues…until then I have much better things to do and much better games to play in my spare time.

Not at all. It is still a faster TTK paired with a BR. Two shots, burst with BR - kill. No 4-shot needed. Faster than a 4-shot. Still a powerful weapon.

Are you actually serious? Looking back on just the last two years they’ve BS’d us plenty of times. How about when Postums aggressively denied the existence of the MisterChief challenge bug? Or like 3 weeks ago where Sketch tried to play the Ukraine card?

It’s literally all just fluff. A lot of “we’re working on it”.
And a lot of dancing around things like crossplay with a bunch of PR speak. Just say you aren’t ever giving us the option to turn off crossplay. The PC player count is too low. We all know it.
We’re basically just getting bug fixes. And they made an entire 7,000 word essay about it. Bug fixes that would’ve been taken care of in a hot fix in literally any other live service game.
