Anyone else having a problem where matchmaking says “Searching for players…”, changes to “Players Found…” and then loops that process over and over again?
The process is supposed to go “Searching for Players…” > “Players Found…” > “Connecting Session” > “Searching for more players”/voting screen
But all i get is “Searching for Players…” > “Players Found…” > “Searching for Players…” > “Players Found…” > “Searching for Players…” > “Players Found…” over and over and OVER again.
Does anyone else have this issue? Also, regardless if it’s yes or no, please put which region you are from, so we can see if this is a trend in certain regions specifically.
I myself am from Brisbane, Australia.
About 5% of the time it goes forward to “Connecting Session” like it should, but it can take 30+ minutes to get to this point, so it is a big problem.
Hey there, I’m from New Zealand. I did have this problem before the latest patch but it seems to be doing it less now. If it does it for too long or gets stuck on the “players found” which it hasn’t done after the patch. I just quit the game and restart Because that usually fixes it.
I think also if you can’t find matches quickly you have to remember that there are most probably not many people playing in our region at some points, so it may just search for players, find one player, then that player leaves. It may just be that. I’m not entirely sure but I feel your frustration.
Hope it gets resolved soon. It seems this patch only worked well for 2 days for some people.
living in kempsey NSW, can only find team slayer consistently and fast. i don’t really want to be constantly be playing team slayer. my patience for 343 is wearing thin
I’m from Perth, Western Australia. Been having the same issue. The patch didn’t seem to change anything for me, sometimes I’ll get a match instantly when I first turn on my xbox and then can’t get another one for the rest of the night.
Hmm, it definitely seems to be affecting players in the Australia/NZ region, can you guys jump on twitter and tell Bravo what’s going on? Because we need to make 343 aware, seeing as how USA/EU don’t seem to be having this problem anymore.
Same Here in Saudi Arabia, Middle East it’s odd to see a post from Middle east but it’s the same problem over here and I would guaranty that I’m the only who bought Halo:MCC, I Love Halo And It’s my Life I can never Leave it, Hope 343i fixes it. I’m always here to give feedback.
I’ve already tried contacting 343 on twitter, literally for the last 2 months. I also tried again yesterday and still got no response. I think they are trying to ignore the issue and hope that nobody makes too much noise about it.
Okay so I’ve just found a fix that seems to be working. If you can’t connect back out to the dashboard and “quit” out of the game, restart it and then try again. If it still doesn’t work repeat.
sometimes I’ve had to restart the game 2 or 3 times but eventually it works.
Hey, yep i’m also in Brisbane and have been having the exact same issue. I was so excited for this patch to work, however, i spent all last night searching for games and was only able to find 2. My game also keeps looping between players found and searching for players. i’m 90% sure its not a problem with my internet and my NAT type is open. All my american friends say they find games instantly, but as soon as I join their party, no one can find a game.
Yep. Playing from Adelaide, SA and running into this problem in every playlist. Update worked well the first night but seems to have regressed horribly.
I see you guys are having the same issues, please help me by contacting 343 via twitter explaining the basic problem and that it is a problem very much focused in Australia, if we don’t let them know, who will? not the Americans, I can tell you that much, we have to speak up, I’m tweeting Bravo daily, we NEED this addressed ASAP, help spread the word guys, I’m not letting this go unnoticed, Australians deserve smooth Matchmaking too.

It’s not about getting a response necessarily, though that is nice, but making it so that when Bravo, or anyone else reads all their tweets, they find a sea of Australians pressing a very urgent issue. keep tweeting at them, make them aware
Exact same problem here in Utah. Matchmaking worked fine until after this last update. Now all I get is the “players found” loop mentioned above. Haven’t been able to connect to one game. Terrible cause match matchmaking used to actually worked.
U.S.A Utah.It dose the same to me once in awhile.It will also get stuck trying to go back to lobby When it dose I have to hard reset to get it working again.
Same thing here in NY. Since the last update… Totally annoying … With today’s technology how could it take so long to fix. Aside from Twitter we should use more types of social media and other means to bring pressure for a fix that works. Who’s the head of 343? Who’s the project manager in charge of matchmaking. Has anyone called or mailed their head offices directly. Also what can really be done to make them get the right people to make it work right. Something that would effect their bottom line. Demanding a refund from 343? Suing maybe!!! … COD although not perfect matchmaking mostly works like a charm. And let’s not even talk about the other faults in the game… Quitters/ cheaters/ modders/rank system/ unbalanced teams/ just to name a few!
Same here and im in the uk which is weird no offence guys but you lot are out a bit futher so if like yr country ant that developed i would understand u might have a few issues but not like this and not like this in the uk i’ve had one game all weekend and about 10 since i got the new game/console 8 weeks ago thinking of returning to the shop tbh as halo is the only reason chose xbox over and over gain but halo 4 um come on we know not that good for a comapnty debut game and now this we all know bungie wouldn’t have this happen but hey guess 343 don’t care this is what happens when it’s switch from gammers to money guys tbh but the gammers are what makes the money they just think they can ride on the brand halo but they will just run it into the ground and that’s all people will remember have you noticed no guy from 343 even looks or responses to these which is even more dis respectful also

Mate this is it this is the only contactable way to contact 343 but they don’t even respond hope the guys like their jobs as halo is falling and do u think micro will move them to a new department with the this fail be hide them i wouldn’t if i was the boos it would be bye bye
I don’t think it has to do with region. I’m in the U.S. and no matter what the playlist is I CANNOT get past players found. If I’m in someone else’s party it’ll work, but it takes up to an hour of restarting my game time after time to finally be able to party up. Someone PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE!! Also, other games such as call of duty or destiny work just fine…
