I’ve been having an issue when matchmaking where I get stuck “Searching for Players.” when looking for any game larger than 4v4 in Social Games. I have no issue connecting to a 4v4 match and it connects instantly but when trying to connect to an 8 player FFA, 12 player FFA or 8v8 I get stuck at the “Searching for Players” screen indefinitely. I have tried opening my NAT type, opening ports on my router, restarting my router, verifying integrity of game files through steam, even uninstalling and reinstalling the game but nothing seems to fix this issue. It doesn’t matter what combination of gamemode or game I pick the results are still “Searching for Players.” Like I’ve said I have no trouble connecting to 4v4’s but only 4v4’s seems to work. I’ve been having this issue since the release of Halo 2 on steam and assumed it was just a bug and would get patched in a future update but the issue persists. If there is a working solution for this I will happily take it.
