In Halo: Reach, Bungie implemented the search restrictions so you could choose if you wanted to be matched with players who were chatty, polite, and team players, for example. I, however, never seemed to have any luck with these restrictions. If I searched for chatty people, 3 or 4 people at most would have mics.
I understand this is partly the communities fault, but there’s only so much you can do about them. My question to you, then, is would you like to see the search restrictions in place for Halo 4? If you feel there is a way to fix them to be more accurate, feel free to discuss that as well.
I found the search restrictions in Reach pointless. I don’t like chatty 12 year-old’s screaming in my ear. But I always go into the quiet category, even though there are idiotic trolls that blare music or scream in the mic. I would like to see them return, but with more specifics. Maybe you could select a topic to talk about or something. Cause I’m sick of 12-year old’s trying to be cool by swearing and screaming.
