I meant higher up that put this change forward like im sure the idiot that thought this was a good idea is seeing that ‘whoops that wasn’t supopse to happen’ and now that its int he open the other member of 343 are like ‘sorry bout that mess the higher ups made it’ll be fixed’

Actually I’m looking at it from a logical.stance, I already was tracking all the vlog post 343 put out when they spoke about the customization, those Blog post are received by PR and management before they go out.
That means that these Higher level up individuals were seeing what their employees were telling the community and what expectations they were setting.
So it’s a bit hard to believe that higher ups made this made poor choices consecutively that go a full 180 of what they were hyping players up each time they brought up the cosmetic topic in the blog post.
On one they even for and state that the Paid cosmetics wasn’t going to be the main source of cosmetics, that players are going to have a ton of other ways to unlock amazing cosmetics outside premium value cosmetics.
Thus why I’m over here just kinda laughing thinking that someone at 343 really thought that 10 of the basic colors are free while the other default basic most generic colors we got in Halo 5 are considered Premium cosmetics. I honestly would love for whoever decided that one to actually come out and be like yup that was my idea, all mine… I was like yea this is great the fan base is going to love this…

There is an amazing Reddit post about this. 343 didn’t make the system the snakes at Microsoft did and 343 can’t change it. The only way they change it is by dropping a stack of complaints on some bureaucrats desk and waiting 7 months which is why you’re criticism has to be CONSTRUCTIVE

Would have thought the disparity between the Slispace engine demo and the gameplay reveal would have clued people into the fact that 343 are liars. Or that a “Live Service” game launched with no roadmap.
If 343 had any goodwill left, it’s gone now.

Oh we all know it, but 343 confirmed they watch his videos so It’s one of those Hey this you moments, kinda calling them out and bringing the receipts. He basically has cataloged what they said in their own words for even those who still think 343 didn’t lie to see.
He used their own words as a compare and contrast and it was beyond Chefs Kiss.

I would actually love for that person or atleast one of the higherups to come out and own that and publicly apologize hahaha that would actually be a step in the right direction. first thing you have to do is recognize the problem then you can go out and fix it. Problem with 343’s mentality is they are acting like they haven’t done anything wrong and that all their ideas are good and we’re the bad guys cause we don’t like it.

Idk, I mean they really kept hyping up the whole customizations and reassuring us that it won’t be this Overly Monetized game and we would have so many unlocks damn near close to the launch. At one point they knew it wasn’t going to be close to the hype but thy said nothing…
Thank after the launch when the backlash came, Sket7h gave such a cringe and shady response… The whole remember guys in the end it’s a company that needs to make.money and these servers ain’t cheap…
They went from player first you guys are gonna live the Customization and unlocks which will mostly be earned through non premium service gameplay.
Too well we got to make money so deal with it. Literally his response really put me off so bad. Like it was like bro don’t be upset we ain’t cheering this on, you guys hyped it up to be something it ended up not being.
After that I have just been keeping extra tabs on what they say and compare it to what they are delivering. Especially be ause they like to carefully word stuff in a shady way
