Scuf Infinity- Can't charge Plasma w/ hair trigger

I just got my Scuf Infinity controller and one of the reasons was to be able to play with the “hair trigger” function but I can not charge the Plasma pistol or ride my ghost in lightning speed… However! I can charge any other weapon and I can charge the Wraith’s speed thingy too.
Any ideas?

ps. No I am not going to release the hair triggers more.

Possibly has to meet a certain thresh-hold before those items are triggered via the buttons. If that’s the case, the only thing that will fix it will be releasing the triggers more or them to patch it.

You can slowly lower the stops to see how far it wants you to go.

similar issue with the Elite controller. Rail Gun works fine and business as usual boosting in the ghost and banshee but I can’t charge the plasma pistol, plasma caster, nor incineration cannon with the hair trigger switched on.

I adjusted the trigger sensitivry to the max and that doesn’t work. Hopefully they patch this, kind of odd the premier flagship Microsoft controller isn’t fully compatible with their flagship game.

I have bother my triggers set from 1-10, so basically half what default is, and I can use all the charge weapons with the trigger stops? You sure you didn’t adjust them the wrong way?

I’m thinking the same. mine had that problem until I adjusted everything. Now all charge weapons works with the air triggers. Phoenix your settings might be a little messed up

thanks guys. I set it all the way to the top while testing on an empty map and went back to default when that didn’t work. Will try it at 50% tonight and see if I have a game-changer!

Just to clarify - this thread was meant for SCUF controllers and not the Elite controller, there is already threads about those.

While I am glad some of you found a fix to your Elite, please refrain from it further.

I got the same problem with my Scuf. Did you find a solution in the end?

Huh? Scuf is a third party product. Microsoft doesn’t even endorse them. The only tie they have together is that Microsoft purchased patented tech from Scuf for the Elite.

My elite works just fine. It isn’t trigger sensitivity you have to tweak, it’s the deadzones. If you are using the trigger stops you need to adjust the back end deadzone to 50% so it will register the half pulls as full trigger pulls.

I’m going to try that. I think have them set at 0/1. Don’t really use the chargeable weapons but this may change that.

Yea tou have to release the hair trigger. Ive herd ninja on twitch tell countless people not to get hair trigger for halo because it keeps you from being able to use noob combo. Its that simple

You quoted HLR Phoenix out-of-context, Pie. In the very first sentence (which you omitted), Phoenix specially said that they had a “similar issue with the Elite controller.”

With the Elite turn the trigger pull sensitivity down to 75%. Not sure if you can change scuffs in a app like the Elite.

I have an elite controller and I’ve never done anything and the PP still works with my hair triggers
