Screenshots

Okay, so, I’m trying to work out how to get screenshots from Halo: Reach from my 360 to my computer. I don’t know how to mod anything - I’m not exactly computer-savvy in every way - and I can’t use the Fileshare here on Waypoint because I don’t have the money to purchase and set up an Xbox Gold Live account so that I can connect my Waypoint account to my Xbox Profile, which is one of those secondary accounts that people have if they share their Xbox with other people.

Does anyone know how to move the screenshots to PC? I wanna share my SPARTAN-III’s good looks with everyone, and create a “profile” of sorts.

I do see several options here that can help you out.

Method one is use a digital camera that doesn’t pick up interference from televisions when taking photos, such as ‘lines’ or overly bright photos. Most newer digital cameras are capable of this, so if you have this method, you can do this. This is what I did with my Halo 3 screenshots as there is no Halo 3 File Browser on Halo Waypoint.

Method two is getting a two day Xbox LIVE Gold Trial Code. This shouldn’t really be that difficult as they are somewhat easy to come by. Just remember not to publically ask here on Waypoint four such a code as that is against the Halo Waypoint forum rules.

Method three would be painstaking, but you can have somebody who does have Xbox LIVE Gold more or less re-take the screenshots and upload them to their file share.

I would recommend method two over anything else, as that would be the easiest method. Get a two day LIVE Gold Trial Code, upload the files to your file share, and voila! Done  . Hopefully I was able to help you out and have a nice day now.

Yeah, I want to know that too, but with clips. I made a machinima with my friend, but he did it locally and on a Non-Live account. Plz send help

Since Bungie Pro was discontinued back when 343i took over (Rendering of films was hence discontinued due to this), you have four options. If you grabbed the videos from your temporary history on Reach, you can follow methods 1-3 directly.

Method one is using the recording feature on the Xbox One, and then using a site or downloading manager to download the videos directly. Simple and easy.

Method two is get a capture card for your Xbox, which will record videos either to an external HDD or directly to your computer.

Method three is the last ditch effort method, which is record with a digital camcorder or other digital device. Reason this is last ditch effort is quality will be lost with this method.

Method four is for your friend to get a Two Day Xbox LIVE Gold Trial Code and go onto LIVE. From there, on Reach, he will have to upload all the clips to his fileshare (That is if the Fileshare will allow it. Often the File Share system will not allow files created offline to be uploaded). From there, you can retrieve the clips and follow methods 1, 2 or 3 above.

Hi lizking10152011.
I just wanted to say, thankyou a lot for your help.
I’ve changed my account to a LIVE one now, and when I can, I’ll get a Gold LIVE trial code, as per your suggestion.

So thankyou

Sure thing, as long as your Xbox had an internet connection and you were logged on while taking the screenshots, you should be able to upload them to your file share. If they were taken offline with no internet connection, you may not be able to upload them.
