Hello community! My friend LeGy ECLIPSE told me to write this!

I’m a okay photographer in halo reach and have been making screenshot ever since halo 3

I was wondering on what you guys think of my file share? Thanks

I’m confused. Are you typing for Legy? Is it him who’s looking for criticism considering that’s his fileshare?

I’ll give feedback nonetheless.
There are some nice shots in there. The biggest problem I see with some of them is the angle. Can’t really say what’s wrong, but I can say is to pay attention to the Rule of Thirds and take the angle that would be appropriate to express the feel and concept of the shot. A great example is the shot ‘Fate’ in the fileshare. It has a great angle and pose that really fit the effect. The way the spartan is looking down with his arms by his side says that his guard is down, making him vulnerable. This would likely mean that he accepts the inevitable fate that is to come. You see how that all works out? A shot should tell a story and the title/description is there to enforce it. The deeper the shot and the more somebody can get out of it, the more interesting and attention-grasping it will be.

There is some great work in that fileshare, so please keep it up. :slight_smile:

feeling lazy and Derpy kinda sums it up for me :stuck_out_tongue:
there are some really great ones in there like Fate, Moon Lite, and The After Life where there are great poses that really fit the pic along w/ sweet effect.
there are also some which are hard to see because the angel in conjunction w/ the effect that could be improved upon with the suggestions above, so hope Eclipse steers away from that and keeps up the really great pics :slight_smile:
