Hey everyone. I’m a BIG Invasion player and I’m good at it too. I heard that Invasion is going away. So what game type do you all suggest for me to scratch that itch in H4? Invasion is almost all I play. Please hit me with some educated suggestions. I’m going to need it.

I was under the impression that Invasion was going to be in Halo 4.

No Elites would defeat the purpose of Invasion. They did say there was no Invasion in Halo 4 but fans of it would enjoy another playlist which would scratch that itch. What that will ultimately be is unknown.
They could just call it something different? I don’t see why we wouldn’t have a multi-tiered objective game that is Spartans vs Spartans.

[We already know Elites are not in, which means no Invasion as we know it in Halo 4. Have you considered releasing a game type (both at launch and after launch) which relied on some of the aspects which made Invasion great? –Gabotron ES

If you have ever played BF3 the gametype Rush could be a suitable replacement for invasion, Im hoping that 343i does this sort of gametype it’s REALLY fun
Just play BTB its the same thing just with 2 more people
Invasion is a 3 stage objective game type – If that was added in BTB it would increase the population of BtB and probably make both BTB and, invasion people happy .

Not really. You could be a blue stick capturing the red stick’s fortifications and data and as long as it played exacctly the same it would be invasion. I think Invasion could make a return. I would call it Siege and it should be based on Spartan-IVs practicing conquest tactics. Its not difficult to adapt.
Needs more maps though if I’m gonna consider returning to it. Boneyard and Spire got really old after the 50th time on each one.

I think rush is what they based invasion off of. I think Bungie also copied the BF ranking system as well.
Simply add the INVASION game type into the BigTeambattle playlist -,-
Boom everyone is happy and the BtB population goes up and invasion people get to play the game type they enjoy
It’s basically 2-3 objective games in one match. Territories, and capture the flag/assault. Just play team objective to scratch that itch.
