Had this conversation with my fireteam at the weekend, is there a point to the scout warthogs? Has any found them useful?
If you have a good tactic for them please share. Looking forward to your comments.
Faster than sprinting and easy access, you get them at the very beginning of a WZ match. And it’s harder to get shot out and more armor over a Mongoose.
Splatters my friend. If you play FF you’ll see how handy they are too.

Also for rushing sweaties in warzone and to block entrances to armories in WZA.
Also if people remember the glitch in WZA. That was when the demand for scout hogs were at its peak

I’ve seen people use them to block doors, as early game splatter devices, and to try and escape tight situations with a bit more durability than a mongoose.

Not a tactic I’ve seen but then I don’t play a lot of WZA - i’ll try to remember this one in future.

Yup especially for maps like apex for WZA. Just spawn a scout hog and splatter as many as u can.
Scout Warthogs are very useful in Warzone Assault when contesting an area or just general transportation, why waste a gunner hog when I can just waste a scout hog.
Spam them when defending the fortress in WZA. lol
Well scouts always have been worth the 1 req in war zone. And ever since wzff came out I can not ever keep em in stock. If your decent driver you can be at the top of the score boards for at least 2 rounds just with 1 scout. In my opinion the scout is the best bang for buck in wz.

Definitely gonna try req-ing a scout for the start of a WZFF match tonight, see if I can get to double figures in splatters.

AMAZING for running down anything smaller than a Knight or Hunter (Soldiers, Crawlers, Grunts, Elites, Jackals) in the first 2-3 rounds of Warzone Firefight. Cheap as heck too.
I use them quite a bit in WZFF for the rounds where you have to kill a lot of the enemy (Grunts, Crawlers, etc). It’s useful in WZA for the aforementioned reasons, but also because it’s harder for the opposing team to stop you. It takes more time/shots to kill the Scout hog than just a Spartan. Can buy your team the time it needs to re-group and defend/capture.

I remember getting an ONI scout hog last night in a silver pack - might just have to give it a spin tonight.
Honestly I’m running out of scout hogs from how much I use em xD

WZFF round 1 kill crawlers = my favorite time to use it lol

Best method to take down the Prometheans at the beginning of a match. Minus the knights, but just taking out the soldiers and crawlers helps everyone else take them down. I never used them until firefight.

No I think they’re only good for a noob to drive around and goof off and maybe get a few splatters.
