As a quick idea, what about mounting the chain guns/rocket turets etc to the back of scout warthogs? Such as you requisition a plasma turret, and walk up to the back of a scout warthog, you’re prompted to hold x to mount and you can make a warthog with customisable gun? It’s an idea similar to what jorge could do to the trucks in Reach
Glad to see I’m not the only person to ever think about this
at least let a spartan sit in the back so there is a 360 degree of fire, if a ghost or warthog chases the hog there is no way to return fire
Your gonna need a 3/4 in metal drill bit. And 4 CAT grade bolts nuts, and lock washers as well as regular washers and an impact. Get working

That would be very useful but if that was available, you would run out of ammo but you get to be like Jorge from halo reach.

Ammo would be the balancer for gameplay, as if not it would be a replica of an average warthog

I don’t even play warzone but still this idea sounds pretty good!

Early game troop transport. Gets team mates from point A to point B as fast a mongoose yet is more heavily armored. I’ve heard that the ONI Variant has more armor than a regular tank, and I’ve seen them take the brunt of some massive hits before. Utilizing the scout hogs as soon as you can in a match is a strategy quickly gaining popularity, as you get them quick and they’re cheap in terms of Reqs.

Distraction. If you know where to go and how to drive, you can certainly get some good splatter kills with a Scout hog, making it something NOT to be totally ignored if used properly. While you soak up the bullets your team mates can get the first couple shots off and get the kill. Distractions are a very important part of Warzone. I really like the idea of being able to mount a turret to the back. This would require some team work though, which can be very hard to find. I have actually seen this happen once in game. Somebody with a Turret was standing on top of a hog while the driver was moving him around quickly. Not sure if it was a Scout hog or a Normal Hog though. I guess this can kinda work, so long as the driver doesn’t hit a pot hole and an ant hill causing the vehicle to flip over.
Yeah I never thought of the idea but its great, so what about the regular warthogs?
Scout warthogs are useless to me, I sold all mine and got free req points
That would at least make the scout warthog much more useful in games like warzone or big team arena

Yup. Wait a couple minutes into Warzone Assault on Apex 7 (I forget its assault name) so that there isn’t literally everyone on top of the spire then spawn an ONI Scout hog and just drive right on top of it. Great distraction, often lots of splatters, it’s a blast. Even worth it to have a passenger to help you shoot at stuff, because they get nearly as much protection as you. You’re not wrong about how much armor they have. They just don’t die. Once I had 3 dudes with small arms, another ONI Hog with the explosive rounds, and a ghost all shooting at me. Still took a full 10 seconds before they could blow me up.

Or you know, just turn on your magnetic boots.
I was thinking to be pretty cool to mount the guns , and I don’t even know if this is possible, of the war goose on the front of all warthog. Gonna have to wait to see but I like your idea .
