Alright. I’m sure all of us, especially H3 vets realize that the scout hog is wasted potential. This hog needs to have the capability to carry a max of 4 spartans. Driver, Shotgun, and two in the back, each with 185 degrees of rotation left to right and 160 degrees up and down. So what if you are exposed. You are exposed on a mongoose. And the argument that it holds too many people is a farce when you can load up two 'geese and drive to the same location, except the hog is more efficient.
Yes the flag/bomb/etc guy can hop in the back too. maybe make it a first person point of view ordeal to maybe force the riders to keep looking around rather than having a 180 degree field of view.
give it a cage like the transport hog in H3 so it looks legit, and gives some cover to the riders. i guess just give us the transport hog from halo 3.
As far as changing seats give it its own unique code so that either you can only switch on the sides that you are already on(unless the driver dies and you are on the right) or make the (a) button switch back and forward and the (b) side to side.
Maybe make the different tiers have different capabilities. Example. Standard hog is standard. Corps hog gives the passengers unlimited ammo(not grenades) for load out weapons only, not req cards. The Oni hog will have a armored back, like a steel box with port holes to shoot from, but the house give a very limited view, and the main weakness would be the open hatch in the back.
another idea for an Oni hog is a hog type where the driver controls the gun. the driver and passenger would have a armored door that can be shot off. If it has a troop carrier component, then the riders in the back can’t shoot out the vehicle at all, and neither can the passenger. Just some things to mix up gameplay a bit.
I’m surprised this was never implemented after the first time we saw a hog with no turret in H2 and a live one in H3.
343, Do this. you know it’s a great idea.
While we are at it, lets add some Promethean scout vehicles and a tank. Obviously they would have to look significantly more different so they don’t mimic the operational aspect of the wraith, ghost, mongoose, and warthog.
