Some people have been asking that players should be able to sit on Scorpion tread seats. Here are some reasons why they should not.
*It limits movement and aiming.
*You are extremely vulnerable.
*You might accidentally get into a tread seat when trying to drive or man the turret.
*A single rocket can kill all passengers.
It’s good for campaign so you can bring Marines along, but in multiplayer, there is no point for having it.
The point of having it:
- Safer because the driver doesn’t have to worry about accidentally shooting the people who will inevitably jump on top of his tank otherwise.
- It’s BA
- Flag/bomb transport
- It’s BA
- Maybe the people on the tread covers could interact in some new way with potential hijackers.
- Machinima
Did I mention it’s BA?
Sound like trade offs to me.
- it could be set so that you can only get in the passenger seats if driver/ gunner seats are not available. kinda like how the mongoose works.

Sounds good to me.
Speaking of the Mongoose, I wonder if hijacking it will work like Halo 3 or Reach. I prefered 3–it was harder if you wanted to actually hijack it, but good times screwing around with a buddy in Rumble Pit were impossible.
