Hello fans!
The Scorpion…it’s speed is SLOW, You can walk faster than the tank when it goes up any incline, and the speed in general on flat land is horrendous. Anyone else think this? It’s sad that the minute you get a Scorpion, and if you do not have a machine gunner or not a crack sniper with it’s cannon, you will get jumped…The collision alone to run someone over is nearly impossible since it’s so slow, you literally have to be moving for a straight distance to get a splatter with the tank, not that I want it to where the warthog was in Halo 1, slight bump and its POP!! DEAD…But at least have some sort of fairness or gap in speed…not slowest, slower, slow…I don’t know, I’m just sorta picky I guess, the Wraith is my favorite just for the fact it moves fast and if someone tries to board you, you can literally speed up and splatter, I just feel the Scorpion should have the same effect, not the same speed, but at least faster than what it is now. Please leave some input below!! thanks !
I agree, it’s almost not even worth using the REQ, other weapons and vehicles are more effective or at least not as easily ambushed or taken down.

are you serious? I already completed the scorpion commendation and did 3-4 running riots with it and I barely play warzone. sometimes they get you quick but if you are aware of whats happening around you usually you destroy everything. maybe you are just bad, I see a lot of bad players in scorpions that are destroyed so fast.
Every time I take the scorpion out I get to use it for a few seconds then someone runs up and throws a grenade in. What’s the point if they can just casually stroll up to you and bomb you. There’s no running away or charging into battle. Just slowly wheeling in at a snails pace.
They should rename it the “snail”.

Alright, so what is your advice to do with the scorpion? rather than just labeling the players bad, you could give constructive feed back on how to better handle the scorpion?
The M820 Battle Tank also known as the Scorpion is the newest addition of Tanks in the halo universe. However, the Tank is always slow and it’s like that for a good reason. The Scorpion is one hard nut to crack tanking more hits then a wraith and does even more damage. I don’t think it needs to be changed, you just need to change how you play.
- The Scorpion has an easy weakness and that’s getting close to it. If no one is manning the turret just getting infront of it or getting behind a scorpion is already the end for the driver.
- Watch tight places, places where Spartans can mount on and obtain a height advantage on you. - Keep distance, you have the longest range of fire compared to other vehicles (Guass Warhog might be the same or even more) - Go to where the action is at, stay with your team. Having on your side of the battle in warzone can change everything and makes easy kills for the scorpion.
Guys, it’s slow for a reason. You have plenty of time to examine your surroundings and assess the situation. Use the speed to your advantage. Nobody should get close enough to plant a grenade with all that time you have to examine everything. Awareness is your best friend when in the tank. Chill back a little and don’t be so aggressive, you’ll slay plenty.
