I think that the Scorpion would win because of range. Wraith has an advantage up in close range though.
I’m usually up close and personal so I’d choose Wraith
It really depends on distance, a shot from a Scorpion is extremely accurate from afar, and a wraith has its delay of the energy blast reaching the target. But up close a wraith will most likely win 8/10 fights while from a distance a tank would win 9/10 times

Wraith has a slight advantage in some things.
I’ve been in a wraith ultra and was behind a slight hill.
I could shoot over it, the scorpians couldn’t shoot me though.
I once heard the line (tank beats everything lol) scorpion in my opinion.

True but you still have that delay from firing to where the blast actually hits. I’m accuracy scorpion wins. In damage, I believe a wraith holds the upper hand.

In raw damage wraith wins by a large margin. It’s just so hard to actually land a wraith shot on a moving vehicle. The tank is just way more accurate with enough power to -Yoink- on most things. Wraith if it hits will -Yoink- all over everything.
As someone stated earlier. At range a tank will almost any fight. Mid to close range though nothing will survive a wraith hit from a ultra. Another thing to know is if a wraith boosts into a scorpion that tank is flat out -Yoinked!-. If you dont blow it up with the ram you can flat out launch it upside down.
The terrain matters. The wraith also tends to be a huge battering ram with a mortar m.
Scorpion has more firepower and it can more easily use that firepower due to not having a parabolic trajectory. The projectile also hits almost instantly, which again makes it much deadlier in shootout.
The Wraith is way more maneuverable, being both faster and more agile. It can get around more quickly and more easily avoid boarders than the Scorpion can. The boost makes a ridiculously easy way to splatter people who try to board you from the front. Being a Req level cheaper is nice too.

In damage terms it’s actually weaker then the Wraith Ultra. Wraith is the howitzer cannon. Scorpion is the sniper. Both will -Yoink- your -Yoink-, just in different ways.
A Oni Tank still needs 2 shots to kill a Ultra Banshee. I have hilariously managed to hit a full health Ultra Banshee with a Ultra Wraith blast and 1 shot it.

Exactly. That’s why I said Wraith is the Howitzer and Scorpion is the sniper. Scorpion will nail just about anything with enough damage to -Yoink- it up.
Wraith is that thing when you feel the need for flat out “-Yoink- you” if you can get in to mid range to make it hit.
Both have their strengths and weakness, for accuracy Scorpion every day of the week and twice on Sunday. the wraith with it devastation also has its day in the sun can take massive abuse and keep going what it lacks in movement and precision it makes up for in armor.
Haha, I love that 3rd option you put in. I think they’re both terrible in Halo 5, honestly.

I prefer the scorpion but the wraith is also good.

Right? I have been nailed by that -Yoink- in a Banshee lol. I have had times where I was causally flying around in my Ultra Banshee and got murdered by Wraith officer in March on Stormbreak. I want their skillz ; ;
Haha, this got me thinking today I was using a wraith and came across an enemy scorpion outside one of the garages on noctus, so we both started firing at each other at like mid-close range. The scorpion seems to be able to take more damage and is definitely more accurate and easier to aim, but is slower and easier to hijack. Its projectiles travel a lot faster and might also do more damage than the wraith’s. The wraith’s projectiles travel considerably slower and in an arc, but I think they might have a larger area of splash damage? It’s also a lot more agile compared to the scorpion and can strafe kinda like a ghost and splatter easily, which are some things that the scorpion can’t do. When we were firing at each other I attempted to dodge some the scorpions shots, and successfully did so to about I’d say half of them as I strafed in and out of cover. Eventually, we actually ended up blowing each other up lol.

The Scorpion would beat the Wraith one on one in most scenarios, but I much prefer to drive a Wraith than a Scorpion.
