My only real concern about Halo Anniversary is if the Scorpion tank is going to be exactly like Combat Evolved…cause honestly not being able to control the turret and main body seperately is going to be painful to go back to.
That aside Anniversary is looking sleek and I do look forward to going through the Halo: CE again but this time with achievements to tackle! Aww Yeah!

Seeing as they didn’t change the gameplay at all, I am going to go out on a limb and say it will be the return of our good ol’ stubborn CE Scorpion.
It’s really not that annoying. Maybe it’ll take a moment to acclimate, but once you get into the hang of things the Halo 1 tank actually feels quite nice to drive. It’s not worse so much as different.
I for one welcome it’s return. I hate the way they changed it in the other games. It can make trying to turn and drive such a pain in the you know what.
To be honest, lets face it AI make for bad gunners, drivers and pretty much everything else except cannon fodder, soooo, i would like control of the turret back in my own hands and not in the hands of a gunner that doenst know when to shoot or what to shoot at.

This. I’d rather have my 4 A.I. shooting sniper rounds and rockets. If they do die I still have access to the turret and main gun unlike in the other Halos where if my A.I. dies I no longer have a turret who can’t shoot or help anyways.
I really don’t see why you should need to rely on a A.I. turret that doesn’t do anything when its better that you have control of it anyways.
I couldn’t stand the tank. I eventually ended up ignoring the tank altogether and taking the warthog or a ghost. Stupid tank and its lack of accuracy/driving capabilities
