Scorpion Punch Armor Coating

I noticed today that the armor coating that is most prominently displayed on the battle pass, Scorpion Punch, isnt even in the game. I remember this armor being in the beta. Is there a known reason why this was taken out of the game?

I dont even really care. It just seems odd.

They’re gonna put it in the store during the “tactical ops” event fracture coming in march I think
