Ok well a few gripes, I personally like Halo 4 just fine before the Update, but it fixd it to bring players back and worked, so I am grateful. Where are revanent? Ok so Here is the issue, there are no Scorpions now, so now we commendation hunters are left with no scorpions,it was already hard enough with only one on only one map in one game type. If this is permanent or going to take them a year to fix they should remove this commendation. Also two huge problems, one Mongoose destroyer, no one hardly uses them, and two they are quite sturdy, no complaint cept should this really be a commendation. The other Is Iv;e been trying so hard to get covenant weapon loadout mastery, the issue, PLASMA PISTOL lol. From day one it has always been my secondary and only secondary, and even emp’ing a players shield then frantically spamming the trigger I always loss, even to a magnum, my progress for it is still like 2 kills, and I been playing since Christmas relase year. Personally maybe increase it to match a magnum on on a regular fire trigger pull or like the magnum with no head shot 7 to body kill, but, I can emp and have the jump and still lose to any precision loadout. Main point to post impossible commendstion without literally sacrificing and taking a dump on K/D and CSR. and the fact one item no longer exists.
The only commendations I care about are the Ordnance mastery weapons and enemies. The rest are either far to easy or impossible so I don’t bother with them. I like the fact 343 added more commendations but some need to be changed, hopefully in the next update.
I agree, Scorpion Destroyer is gonna be pretty hard to get now. Before it was Mongoose Destroyer. Now…its this. Personally, The Scorpion should’ve stayed on Exile, but most maps, i’ve noticed are very “hilly” which makes it difficult to drive the Scorpion. Wish we had a BTB map similar to Boneyard.
Should be weapon type specific like it was back in reach
The trick with the plasma pistol is 2 things
1)Get the jump on them
- DO NOT overcharge, that takes time away from your ability to shoot them, and wasted time is wasted life in halo.
OR
you can just get lucky and EMP them and they fall of an edge. although i wish that EMP assists counted towards the commendation.
I didn’t know they took iy away, has anyone played it on exile on BTB sense the update, that is where I got most of scorpion kills, pretty easy sense everyone in the tank was not focusing on the rear…But, gee, if they removed it, that sucks…

Agreed. It seems like so many times when they try to fix something, they break something else.
From the way they make it sound they will be periodically changing up the weapon/vehicle spawns on maps to keep the game refreshing. I kind of wish they had done this in previous games. For example, Adrift plays extremely differently with snipers spawning on the map. As does Flag on Exile with the flipped over Gauss hog.
I’m certain we will see the inclusion of the Scorpion again.
