Nearly everything can dodge a scorpion…
Because the aim can’t keep up.
Scorpion also can’t aim down, even on an incline.
A banshee can fly nose first into a scorpion and avoid every shot because… the scorpion can’t turn fast enough.

Try leading your shots for moving targets
Try aiming over the side of the tank you might get better gun depression
Once the banshee has crashed into your tank there is
not much you can do your only hope is to kill them before they get to close.
thats where putting yourself in good positions comes into play
Seems like someone didn’t invest in the Power Turret upgrade for the Scorpion… :3Learning to lead shots can help. It might not be entirely easy at first but it’ll be worth it in the long run. Yeah, the Scorpion does feel quite sluggish… you’d think 500 years from now they’d have invested in a better and more powerful tank engine.
Oh, and positioning helps a lot. Sitting in the middle of the battlefield is like saying “SHOOT ME”. Try setting up at the side, where you’re both
While the pointers up-top here are good, nothing can ignore the fact that 343i hates the Scorpion tank.
They have not had a well balanced iteration in any of their titles. Not even Halo Wars’ Scorpion Tank is worth -Blam!-.
It seems every thing was made faster to compensate for sptint speed.
Accept the scorpion.
I can bullseye a spartan, but some vehicles aren’t so easy.
Bring back the original with a nitro button for boosts of speed
Well if I see fast moving targets, I’ll just take my time and lead shots before pulling the trigger. Helps me take out a lot of sprinters trying to hijack me unless if I’m driving in enclosed confined spaces.
With the angle of Scorpion aiming down, yeah would be nice if we can aim a little down a little more. I feel the turret is more restricted looking down compared from the rest besides Halo CE.

Leading isn’t my issue, spartans are easy to hit.
It’s vehicles that can change direction quickly.
ghosts, banshee , and sometimes mantis at the right distance.
Mantis have a sweet spot vs scorpions, closer mantis gets wrecked farther the Mantis looses accuracy.

Oh that problem, I think it’s not the first time the problem was with the Scorpion. In Halo 2, sometimes the aim gets all wonky because of the Scorpion sudden turn it takes when you push stick on a specific position.
I have no idea why it came back. It didn’t happen in all Halo games after 2 until 5 dropped.
i usually dont use scorpions…but when i do, i spawn on the middle of the battle
Have you not used the ONI or the Hannibal Scorpion?
This may sound like a half-***ed answer, but perhaps bumping up your sensitivities may speed up your aiming speed. I play on max sensitivities all the time.
