Why do scoreboards in Halo 5 show so little? Other games show your score, ratio, kills, assists, deaths, etc. It’s frustrating not knowing how I’m doing. If it’s to keep people from worrying about their personal stats it’s not working. The people who care are still going to care. Also, why do so many game types show your assists but not kills? Who would rather see their assists than kills? It doesn’t make any sense. I have a hard time concentrating because I’m constantly keeping track of either my kills or deaths in my head. I realize I shouldn’t care so much but I can’t help it.
you do know you can hit the small black button that looks like three white bars and itll pop up your scoreboard…halo has allowed you to do this in every title since i can remember…
Objective gametypes are more about assisting and scoring than your kills. It’s to keep your focus on the games objective rather than running and gunning only.
i prefer the more simplistic approach that halo has always had. Only recently did they even start allowing you to see your deaths in the game. It’s more of a tradition and to train your focus mid game. That’s how I see it anyways.

He’s asking why it doesn’t hold MORE information.
Scoreboard (“select” button) shows your score and relevant objective stats. Start button shows kills, assists, deaths. That’s straightforward enough. You should probably focus less on the stats while you’re playing, more on actual performance.
What we need is visible TOP MEDALS… i loved when in halo 2 and 3 after the game you could see that someone had a triple kill or killtacular…
Now even if you get a killionaire you can’t even show it and nobody knows

I think the OP is talking about the in-game scoreboard, not post-game carnage report. But yes, the carnage report should show medals. That’s such a strange exclusion.
What actually happened to the lobbies?
I use to flick through the people in the game but I can’t now is that right?
It fine the way it is.
I like to see at the end how truly bad my random teammates actually did so I don’t spazz out midgame.

Of course, that’s exactly what i’m talking about. The scoreboard doesn’t tell you much.
I just wouldn’t mind seeing post game medals.

That’s what I assumed was the reason. Unfortunately this does the exact opposite for me. instead of focusing on the game and simply checking my scoreboard now and then, I’m just thinking about and memorizing my stats because the game doesn’t tell me. I don’t understand how not seeing your score is supposed to make you not care.
I need the scoreboard to show my death and kda in game. Why is that not a thing because in Black Ops 3 (sorry to all you halo fans who hate COD) but they somehow get it right and show your kill/death ratio.

Press start instead of select, it shows you kills, deaths, assists, and i think KDA(Not sure on this one, have to check)
