Score Attack Question

So I read the explanation for this and I’m still a little confused.

Is this basically just the same campaign, but now you get points for killing enemies and how you kill them? Or does it have unique goals and missions that are solely for Score Attack?

It will have 5 achievements for the game but yes, basically is the same campaign with a score for kills, medals, active skulls and time
