Scattershot question?

My shield are completely drained and enemy spartans are pinning me down, behind a forerunner object. One of my opponents decides to flank me. I react quickly, jumping down to the lower level. Shields still down my opponent follows. He is two spartans lengths behind me. I hear him reloading so I know he is going for a beatdown or an assassination. I don’t have time to turn around, he is too close. I switch over to my secondary weapon, the Scattershot. I fire the weapon against the incoming wall, reflecting the Scattershot bullets into my opponent. I turn around and the chasing spartan lies respawning. My shields are recharging, its safe to return to battle.

Ok, I gave my question in a story form for your entertainment. Simple version: Can you reflect the Scattershot off the wall into chasing spartans? Also, how did you enjoy the story?

I believe so, but I doubt the shells (energy junk) would be so precise as to all hit him, and they probably are ineffective singularly…

If you shoot a wall infront of you, wouldn’t they reflect back towards you, and injure you? Also as someone else said, the person behind you wouldn’t get damaged all that much.

I thought that too, but he could shoot at an angle/angled wall or something.
