Scattershot Gameplay... and 4sk BR?

Scattershot is majorly downgraded from E3’s version. Good thing it shoots fast; looks to be it’s only advantage (other than bouncing off walls).

and there’s a kill, 1 kill, with the BR. while there is a second person with the BR player, the BR seemed to kill quicker, hinting possibly at a 4sk (*fingers crossed).

Well they kind of had to downgrade it to restore the shotgun back to it’s regular glory, plus I think it has EMP capabilities that not many people have mentioned, in one of the war games montages, someone shot a warthog with the scattershot twice and then it was EMP’d

Was it just me or at about 1:22 did the red guy stick his teammate and not kill him?

Scattershot looks weaker because it is semi-automatic they toned the damage down probably.

That’s the same version as the E3 version. About 5 seconds in it says so on the menu.

Scattershot looks like the new Mauler, which is alright. If it had the same power as the UNSC Shotgun, it would be a straight upgrade. Since the Scattershot can bounce around walls. 2-shot seems fine for it with the current rate of fire.

I didn’t notice anything different about the BR, although we did only see it for a short while.

I don’t think the BR is a 4sk gun. I can see gunfire from the player nearby the BR user, helping lower the shields down.

I doubt the BR will be a 4sk without the damage power-up. The DMR got a nerf by losing a bullet in its magazine, making it a 2 shot kill, with just enough left over to pop a fully shielded player.

This is the same build I got to play at FanExpo this week, I can confirm that the BR is 5 shot in this build, as it’s the same as the E3 one.

why did they make the scatter shot weaker ? its now useless.
and why is the disintegrate effect gone ?

It’s the same build as E3, Scattershot is unchanged, friendly fire is only turned off because it’s for public playing, and is still in matchmaking. The BR is still 5sk and still shoots faster making it only a slightly longer kill time than Halo 3. A 4sk BR would be OP due to its ease of use and it being a mid range weapon (pretty much the most common encounter is mid-range). It should a likely will stay a 5sk.

Well, at least i got a laugh out of this. I did noticed the disintegration effect missing from the Scattershot. That was something seen in the E3 builds, so either this one is different and 343 removed it or…i really don’t know.

I counted the BR shots, he fired 6 shots, five of which landed in the head so no, the BR is not a 4sk, it’s still a 5sk.

Me too. I wanna be able to betray people for power weapons and shoot them all game. Griefing is obviously supported by 343 if friendly fire is on.
