Is it just me, or is a large part of the Halo community, when it comes to actually playing matches, scared of connecting with other players? I swear like 60-70% or maybe more in my Spartan Company are afraid to take responsibility and make “friends”. So i deal with pretty regularly, people that are unhappy/quit the company, because I don’t hold peoples hands to get them to play with people.
And it’s not just about the Spartan Company, just in general. That’s just where I have the majority of my player contact
Maybe they players don’t want to make friends. maybe they just want to play the game

Ya, I get that that’s a thing. But what I’m talking about is those that specifically complain about no one playing with them, or things like that, that I’ve dealt with as a Company leader.
And besides that, I get that not everyone wants to make friends out of everyone, but I more mean like just comrades in the game. As it’s a team game unless you play ffa, it seems strange that there are players who shut themselves off from the rest. I mean I guess it’s fine for silver ranks and lower, but otherwise it just hurts the over all experience

I’ve noticed this as well, maybe a lot of people are just shy? I don’t really have much contact with my Spartan Company either.
I suppose that is what the Company forums here in Waypoint are for, huh?
Huh. My SC plays together a decent bit, but now that I think about it, only 15 or so of us play together regularly. I’ve also noticed that there seem to be fewer and fewer people talking in matchmaking. When I started back in November, there was someone who would talk to you at least half the time, and we’d have great chats about the game, life, school, anything. Now, I haven’t had anyone in matchmaking talk with me for close to a month. What’s going on?
